  1. That is one good thing about all this, no matter what the end result happens to be.
  2. I get your point, and while I see exactly what you mean and respect your point, I don't see the interest in doing that. It's sad that merchants are stuck with a bunch of creations they won't be force selling to anyone anymore, but the fact that it will be another way aka buying everything in a collection to get the good item (Which again "good", is decided by the creator), just looks desperate to me. And people are still talking about "rare" and so, when it should be understood that this needs to end. It's no more "rare" if it's hat "easy" to buy now. A lot of creators have been making sets since the begining of SL (Living room sets, kitchen sets, clothes, games etc...) And I believe they are still in business, they just aren't greedy folks wanting that pile of money selling things that we all know, are not any better than regular items. Put a sticker with glitters on it and watch people want it more, it's basic marketing, just not a very honest one. Again, it's my opinion, all said with respect.
  3. Other than buying things I may not want just to get points? I certainly will never participate, juste like in RL. If I have to spend money on other things to get something I want, then nope, not worth my time.
  4. Some will do it. They will then find out that nobody wants to play that (Assuming). They will lose their time, and then maybe abandon the idea, hopefully.
  5. I am not a consumer that is true. What I do not understand is Why trying to make something similar to an illegal practice? Just because oh, it's edgy, but it's legal! Why would a creator try to make money no matter what with a system that is so close to what's being banned? It's time to let go, gachas are now illegal and that's it. Yes it is not easy to move on, but that's also what is asked of us now, creators and consumers. When something seems too good to be true, it probably is. That just has been proven once again.
  6. Not only that, this system is everything but attractive. That's just my opinion. I talked about it to my friend who can't live without gachas and she said she will not buy any more if that's how it's supposed to work now. I'm sure opinions are all different about this, one thing is more than likely; Not going to work like a charm.
  7. Not hard to find out when a scripter hands you a gacha script. You can chose the rarity of your rare and if you're a donkey-hole, you put it at 1%. There. Done. You're getting rich and people don't get what they want most of the time. Fortunately, most creators didn't do that. lol
  8. YES. And this needs to end. That's why I'm more than happy if creators make fatpacks that are copy, mod, no trans. I would totally buy this no matter the cost if it's something that I personally like. I do not want to play and be forced to resell stuff, I don't have that kind of time anyway.
  9. I feel the same. That and roleplay (Actual good roleplay though). Gacha is not so important to me other than a few things I see here and there on MP, sometimes I'll buy, more than likely just pass though.
  10. True, can't argue with that. Going on every country's legislations about that would take hours, can't blame you on that! lol
  11. 3-4? Have you read the whole thread by any chances? Legit question, don't take this as anything else my friend
  12. I feel breedables will fall under that policy as well. When you buy an egg, box or whatever container is the breedable in... You know that you paid for something that is gonna end in a random outcome. Same result, just different process. (As in more steps) I could be wrong, but I guess we will all see what LL says about that soon.
  13. LL had to announce that somehow. It may not be all perfect and clear, but at least we do have a taste of what's coming. We will get more infos soon enough I am confident about this. Keep up the good questions I guess, that's how we forge a good FAQ (Sim owners absolutely know what I'm talking about lol!)
  14. Just a question here but... Is going to the casino, buying (exchanging money for) tokens, and playing games with random outcomes, gambling anyway? I must admit that I am a little confused about this. Sorry if that question seems silly. What's the link with No Transfer items?
  15. lol sorry, it's all comparison really. I know you got what I mean though. But yes it would be extremely easy to go that way, which I wouldn't recommend of course. Hey while at it, please don't forget to go to the washing machines pond! Just a bit of humour I see exactly what you mean though ... And that clarifies it, thank you !
