  1. Thank you very much sir. I will perpetuate to look into the things I have yet to learn. Ever since I got commenced on the utilization of Blender, it's been quite an adventure!
  2. I'll endeavor and look again. If I can't find a video providing felicitous injuctive authorizations, would you be so kind as to not only direct me to a video and/or page that can explicate how to upload textures to the objects, but withal how to upload painted objects into Second Life without losing the painted textures? In the meantime, I'll visually perceive what I can find.
  3. I've made a few projects with Blender, merely scratching the surface of what I can do with a Mesh-Predicated modeling software. Infelicitously, I've found myself stumped as far as textures go. I have endeavored reading guides, visually examining youtube videos, etc, but most are archaic and provide little to no solution on how to congruously upload a standard texture. With that being verbalized, I found the "Paint" option, but am unsure if it's possible to upload the Mesh project WITH the painted texture. If someone could not only apprise me if it's possible, but withal provide feedback on how to do it, I would greatly appreciate it, for this is the only place left to seek such advice.
  4. Thank you very much i plan on giving this a try tommorrow!
  5. I'm sure that this has been asked more often than "Does Snoop Dog Smoke Weed," but every time I try to google it, I get trouble shoots instead of an actual process of how to upload a skin as Clothing. I'm somewhat of a failure at doing texture work to begin with (The seams are usually off-color or non-connecting), but I do enjoy making simple projects, and i'd like to keep practicing and learning how to do these things before I move onto more complexed things (Installed blender, don't know what da hell to do). Any pointers would be GREATLY appreciated! I will reward you with hugs and kisses (High-fives and bro-hugs if you're a guy)
  6. thank you all very much! I'm currently looking at the scripts provided, and seeing if I can pick at them a little bit. I may also pick up on that offer of yours vex!
  7. Thank you for the advice! I'm looking into some of these right now!
  8. Thank you all very much for replying, and thank you all for the durections and advice! I suppose I want to start off simple, so I've had a project burning in my head for a while. I am savvy with texturing (Not good, but savvy), and I love halos. I'm wearing one right now as we speak, but the issue is that I want a more personalized one. One halo i've wanted to make recently, in particular, is one with ancient theological writing that slowly rotates. I suppose my question is: How could I make textures rotate, or even make the objects rotate to give it the illusion of it moving?
  9. It's an odd choice of words, "Mentor." It was the only thing that could come to mind. I'll start from the beginning, but I am going to get this out of the way: I have very little lindens (1,050) and seldom experience with Second Life scripting. When I heard of Second life, i was very fascinated that people could/would make and do anything they want. They could make anything from detailed dragons, to landscapes, to the more comical things such as penises that attacked people. To me, the possibilities would provide me with a more virtual medium outside of my sculpting. However, I have no idea where to begin. I am hoping that I can learn to make things from simple push guns, to spells, or even clothes that change colors! I have very little to offer, and I genuinely want to make things more personalized, so if anyone is able to give me the run-down or explain simple projects to more advanced ones to me, I would be very happy! :D
  10. It seems like my attempts at finding an easy solution to this problem have become a challenge that can't be conqured. I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post this in. I have not used the SL forums before on my old account or new account. However, I suppose that an explanation is in order, but forgive me if I make it a tl;dr situation, it's the writer in me: My brother down in Virginia pays for my MMO memberships. He understands that my living situation/location is very restrictive on activities, so he offers to pay for one MMO membership, but not multiple memberships (For example, if i pay World of Warcraft and feel like switching over to Eve Online, I have to cancel my WoW account so that I can play Eve Online). Recently, I have run into an unfortunate issue with my old second life account. I decided that I should take a break from Second Life about a few months or so ago. I cancelled my premium membership, and decided to switch over to another game for a while. When I came back to try and reactivate my account, I apparently owe $19.00 or I can't log in, alert my friends, or even access the lindens I had built up. I have more account restrictions than a non-premium account, and I have absolutely no idea how I generated this debt after cancelling my monthly membership. being able to pay off the 19 dollars is not possible. From my position, I am unable to obtain revenue due to the opportunities at my current residential location (Very Remote) and asking my brother to pay this off goes without saying due to the fact that to pay it off costs MORE than a montly membership for either of the two games I mentioned earlier. The disturbing thing is that my SL store is still up generating sales, and I can't even turn in the lindens for money to pay off the debt. I have enough lindenburgs to get a start on paying off the debt, but can't use them for anything. In short, I have 19 dollars in debt I can't pay off and have no idea how I got it. Should I just let my old account die off?
