I've been able to move some mesh attachments on my avatar(like move/rotate them), but not all of them. Is there any way I can fix this?

I've seen quite a few mesh items with (Mod/Copy) as part of their description. Does this mean I can modify them? If so, how? I've tried rezing them then editing them, then attaching them but that doesn't save the changes.
