  3. Bumping cuz im a lonely foxxie ..... .。・゚゚・(>_<)・゚゚・。.
  4. I cannot believe I still have not checked out the NEO event!!! Eeeghads what am I doing wif my life!! (─‿‿─)
  5. Thank u Marianne! Its a 4096 square on the corner of a beautiful sim (⌒‿⌒) I actually use Black Dragon viewer with a few tweaked graphics settings, ambient occlusion, depth of field and field of view. Windlight is taken directly from the sim! Photos are post-processed using photoshop. °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
  6. BEAUTY SHOTS bcuz i recently moved to a bigger plot and did sum landscaping (^◔ᴥ◔^)
  7. The Hidden Party 2nite @ Singularty Tribe (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ
  8. I met one of my cute neighbors!! (˘▽˘>ԅ( ˘⌣˘)
  9. Hmm! Nice list hehe! ( ̄ω ̄) Definitely utilize that SEARCH TOOL! Destination Guide is great, but it is a bit limited. I encourage folks to search for GROUPS that relate to their interests, rather than simply sims or places. Finding an active group relating to one of your favorite topics, hobbies or interests can be awesome, with active group chats and notices for group-meetups and events.
  10. Brock Games makes a Dominoes Table! Try searching for Clubs and Hangouts that have a lot of Game Tables like Cards Agains Humanity and Cheesy, you will likely find a Domino table around....
  11. I spent the night building primberry popsicles, so now I am relaxing in my yard (*^‿^*)
  12. The best Machinima I ever saw barely mentioned Second Life being involved. I was actually surprised, about halfway through the project (It was a music video), I began to get slightly suspicious that SL was the main tool that was used. Of course, reading the credits I could find that indeed SL was used to create the video!! Not sure what the takeaway is here, perhaps the market for SL Machinima shouldn't be SL users? I mean with SL being an interactive platform, maybe folks would rather "Act Out" these films inworld, rather than watch them? Just thinking out loud ^___^
  13. GROUPS! Hehe You mention not being able to navigate groups, and I highly encourage you browse around and get familiar. Start simple, use the search tool and find some groups related to your interests, like your favorite kinds of music, styles, creators, fandom, anything you can think of! Some of the groups I belong to have quite active chats; being that you can talk within a group-chat from anywhere on the grid, it makes it much easier for people to talk with one another than tracking down populated sims. Plus, if a group is tied to a particular sim or location, notices will keep you informed about when and where events are happening! You also mentioned you like Voice Chat. Theres quite a few popular voice hangouts for people into that kinda stuff, be sure to search for locations like that. Anyway GOOD LUCK hope to see u around the grid hehe ( ̄ω ̄)
  14. BLUSH RESPONSE, a new Art Gallery and Club! This is taken from the locations ABOUT: ▹ CLUB, GALLERY, REFUGE Art: immersive, 3D, 2D. Music: Post-punk, *wave, indie, 80s, ambient, beyond
  15. BLUSH RESPONSE Grand Opening! Yipppee~! ( ̄ω ̄)
  16. so no 1 told you life was gunna b dis way ( ̄ω ̄)
  17. Yay! Photography can be a lot of fun, and there are lots of ways to approach it. First thing I would recommend is considering your viewer. If you are using LL viewer, you may consider switching to a 3rd Party Viewer that offers more flexibility with graphic and windlight adjustments! I personally use Black Dragon, because I get unreasonably excited for good Depth-of-Field controls lol! Also there is a built in poser, extreme graphic settings and many other helpful tools for photographers/machinamists. It sounds like you are mostly interested in doing Landscape and Location photography! You are already going to be saving time and money if you are not doing portrait photography. The investment for modeling can go through the roof if you fall into the hole of "Fashion Blogging", constantly paying out for new gacha outfits to take new photosets! This means you really need to be more concerned with investing time rather than money! At the very least, keep a couple well-dressed friends in reserves for when you want to add a body or two to your compositions ;-) For someone just starting out, I would recommend simply experimenting as much as possible and see what sticks! Take pictures of everything! Experiment with Windlight settings and shadows! Take pictures to your desktop and use tools to process and edit your images! Upload your creations to Flickr! Grab a random-teleport script and cruise around the grid for interesting locations you might not have thought to photograph! Take advantage of your natural creativity and have fun with it ( ̄▽ ̄)
  18. OH damn someone got lucky! Great parcel...
  19. Facebook for sure. I don't personally have one for my avi, but I know lots of clubs and businesses that have pages, as well as residents. Flickr is very popular with SL photographers. Also I have met quite a few folks who have twitter accounts for their avi's as well. And last but certainly least, there is the my.secondlife.com feed.... if LL had put a little more time into this project (regardless of what happened behind the scenes lol) it could have been a great tool for keeping in touch with people outside of the grid. Alas, you can no longer private message inside of it, though I still have some friends I keep in touch with on the profile feeds...
  20. Bringing this thread back from tha dead ( ̄ε ̄@) here is muh lil home (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄)
  21. P.S. I probably should have mentioned this but I operate in SLT and often don't get inworld until after 6:00 or so, so please don't be offended if I don't get back to you right away! \( ̄▽ ̄)/
