Hello Jean and thanks for your reply, i have now in fact rolled back to Windows 7 and everything works fine again so i guess i have a 'fix' of sorts. But yes, i visited the Intel website for a manual download of the graphics driver, but my hardware was not even listed, these small tablet affairs tend to have firmware embedded as opposed to anything else which they dont like anyone fiddling with as a general rule. However as I say, i'm back up and running, I'm happy. goodbye Windows 10 for now, You have a month of roll-back time btw, so if you are having issues restore while you can!
