I had a reply to my ticket. Apparently the engineers are looking into it but there's no eta yet on when it might be fixed. They say they'll keep us updated. That's all I have.

Ack. I noticed a missing item a few days ago and put in a ticket. Then I discovered this thread and fixed it myself by editing it in the inworld MP window as a poster suggested. But I've just checked today and 10 items are missing now--that's over 10% of my entire store. And like most people I don't have a list of all the items that should be there so I can't really go through and find them all and relist them manually. And quite apart from anything else, even with 10 items or so it'd be a huge pain to have to keep doing that every few days. So I'll put in a new ticket I guess.

I forgot to add that until things began to right themselves on Wednesday my "Top selling products" was listing my new giraffe as 6 sales, 0 page views which of course is daft!

So pleased you posted this as I was about to point it out. I uploaded my first mesh avatar build (a cute mini giraffe) to the marketplace on Monday. After doing some marketing/telling all my tiny friends inworld I was delighted to sell 3 that same day on Monday then 3 the following day on Tuesday. Obviously I was hoping for a bump in the categories to set my new item up for future sales but it stayed stuck at the bottom of all the rankings until Wednesday, when I suspected it had only registered the last sale or two, not all 6. On Wednesday it reached the top of my store page and page 5 of the animal avatar category, but it didn't stay there long. It very soon slipped back down the rankings, including even on my store page after I'd sold one or two minor items. Weirdly though today (Friday) the avatar is back at the top of my store page despite not having sold another one since Tuesday and despite having sold a greeting card overnight. It's also on page 12 of the animal avatar categories so I don't know if that is as expected or not. Anyway, it's all rather confusing and I hope this doesn't happen again. I can't help feeling I've missed out on an opportunity. If the powers that be could give my dear little giraffe a nudge if she did indeed miss out on those juicy topmost tree leaves we'd both be very grateful!

Yes, I'm furious as well. I don't know about anyone else but my MP sales have been completely wiped out since these Linden Lab discounts went live. I'm a very small seller but I have a couple of L$10 items that sell consistently. One of them is a Xmas tree so obviously that has been selling well in the past month. Then on 26 Nov my sales stopped dead. You have to go back to Nov 2 to find a day before then when I sold nothing so as I said I've been selling consistently at a low level. I made two sales on Nov 25 but since then nothing at all. My sales have fallen off a cliff. At first I didn't realize why. I thought it must have something to do with Thanksgiving (I'm British, I don't understand these things, lol) but I'm on my third day now with zero sales. And yesterday I noticed my alt had received an email promoting "sales" on the marketplace from select sellers. Am I angry with Linden Labs? You bet. I had considered going premium. I won't now as this just isn't fair. I've never been here on SL to make money but I love to create things and it's so much more fun if I can sell a little of what I make. I even received my first MP review a few weeks ago. It was in German, so I couldn't understand it, lol, but it was four stars so I was chuffed. There are lots and lots of people on SL like me who are just here to have fun creating. Surely we are what SL is all about, not those big sellers. So wake up LL and get your priorities right please.
