I've done a bit more research and I find HUDS alot easier to use and they make no sound at all it was a firebreathing ability I was looking for, and bought one in the marketplace that is a HUD... much easier and quicker to click a couple buttons than type in /flame1 /flame2 etc each time.. :matte-motes-delicious: The other which required gestures (the first one I bought and wanted to know how to use) got laggy when played and it did affect the chat a little as well has having a very loud sound which irritated me :matte-motes-stress: I totally see what you mean about the sounds ! I often go to sandboxes in particular and find a couple of players running around playing the same sound over 875787234 times at ear shredding volume ! Hi I'm fairly new to SL and really enjoying the experience and have learned alot of things along the way :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2: however one thing I'm confused about are gestures and how to use them, :matte-motes-stress: I'd love to use them and I've downloaded some from the marketplace, a few are HUDS which my avatar is already wearing. What would I need to do to be able to use them ? I've also heard of chat-command and keywords which trigger a specific gesture, could anyone guide me through this please. Thanks ! :heart:

I've done it ! :matte-motes-big-grin: All I had to do was 'select face' after clicking edit then click the tail before applying the texture... the texture was being applied to the invisible mesh around it instead of the tail itself ! :matte-motes-mad::matte-motes-nerdy: Thanks for the help O :matte-motes-big-grin:

That is how I change textures I've changed the textures of shoes, wings, clothes etc without a problem. It's just any tail I put on the avatar and it's confusing.. I've activated a couple of gestures that were in the list but not sure how to add the new ones, what settings do I need to use in terms of Animation / sound etc or do I just type in the trigger and leave it at that ?

Hi I'm new to Second Life and have had alot of fun and ease customising my avatar... however I'm having problems changing the texture of tails... I have recently downloaded the crystal dragon scales, it was already ready to use and was a folder full of the textures so I didn't need to rez it, and as with any other texture I'd want to use it turns the tail into a long block instead :( Also how do I use chat-command ? I got some new gestures but don't know how to use them with keywords Thanks !
