Oh really. Ive been to quite a few Shop and Hop events and the lag is beyond horrible. I have to always set my preferences to friends only to move. Mind you, I have a Ryzen 9 // RTX 2070 SUPER // 32 gig ram desktop. The problem is your program only takes a single core and doesn't utilize any modern hardware whatsoever. I'm being critical because I do enjoy SL but I think your focus is in the wrong area.

Yo Linden Lab, your greed is showing. Those prices are unreal. What are you even using the money for??? You ditched Sansar and the mobile app. It's not like you're creating anything new. Seriously, sky high prices for a region that you even admitted would have degraded performance over 20k? Horrible deal.

I choose to stay because I have friends here and honestly the level of creativity just isn't there with all the others. And the others look like kid cartoons. But I will say that Second Life is dead last when it comes to stability and if a metaverse ever came along that offered something similar to Second Life, I would jump ship in a heartbeat.

This program can be severely irritating and this is one of those times. Ive been working on my homestead and decorating the house and its been fine for weeks with no issues. I log in today and instantly have issues with random mesh objects not showing properly. Here is an example: https://gyazo.com/f4e318e9bc49cecd0aff3f857f500727 I relogged, still having the issue. I cleared my caches (all of them), relogged, and still have the issue. Grid status shows everything is operational so what could possibly be going on? I don't have a potato. I have a beast rig. And the issue is only at ONE single angle when camming. Its the weirdest, most bizarre and stupidly irritating thing. This was never a problem for weeks and suddenly it is now.

They really need to severely overhaul that whole site.

Yeah, that didn't work for me at all. I spent hours messing with it before I came here. And since I have a homestead thats not parceled, I guess clicking "apply to parcel" when there isn't one actually applies to the whole region.

I was. I checked. I always use that setting anyways. It just refused to change no matter what I did.

EEP is by far one of the most freaking ANNOYING things LL has ever come up with. Why this stupid thing replaced windlight, know one freaking knows! Bloody hell..... OK! So I go into region details, and under the environment tab I drag the eep I want to use and it changes.....in text only, it does not visually change on my screen. Its not applying at all! Its the same eep/windlight I had before. I relogged and still no changes. What the hell! Edit: reset all caches, relogged, and still no changes. How the HELL do you visually see a EEP you changed in under environment in region details???????????? And why is this so stupidly complicated??????? Edit 2: OK! So going in under region details, environment tab and changing it doesn't do anything. You have to right click the actual EEP (sky and water separately) from your inventory, and click on "apply to parcel" to see the changes. Wow. How stupid....

I knew about SL way before I joined. But it looked ancient and primitive (no pun intended) so I never bothered until mesh came along. And by mesh I mean Aesthetic. Thank god things have evolved since then lol.

No no, its the other way around. Second Life is not good enough for VR headsets.

They are gestures and they are also super annoying since everyone overuses them especially in clubs. They should def be banned from all clubs since they ruin the actual music.

I just finished my friends stilt house which was a little harder for me, lol.
