  1. Exactly! Yet, somehow, wanting privacy isn't reasonable. Seriously? Funny thing how, once the orbs go up, the rando intrusions go down. lol
  2. I can't "Like" this enough, or you'd have 10,000 likes by me alone.
  3. Well then, allow me to retort. I've had randos intrude and start talking, on voice, acting as though they belonged. Acting as my family and I weren't in our private home. My home is not on any roadside, it's not by any clubs, etc.. It's on the other side of an Italian looking town (that's housed on the other side of a mountain range wall), and has no access to roads or anything. Therefor, there is ZERO reason for people to come, uninvited. Would you have me allow some random stranger intrude into MY safe space, encroaching upon our privacy, that they may intrude where they are not welcome, just because it's not their parcel? What, then, if someone intruded entry at your RL home's door? What if some random stranger came barging into your house, on whatever street you live, in whatever city, on whatever continent in this world? Would you just accept that "Oh this person was just passing through, may as well let them be comfortable and not have them leave as soon as possible if not sooner" hmm? My home has no roads by it, no water ways, not even an airport nearby. There is no welcome mat for randos. Randos, Codex, are not permitted on my parcel. I've literally had one rando come into my home, while enjoying time with my family, and start talking. He took a seat, and started acting like he owned our home. That we were somehow his guests. Started hitting on us. I've had other randos intrude entry as well, and when asked to leave, they refused or ignored it. So, then, why should I allow them entry that they may disrupt our peace? Why, then, shall they be given quarter and allowed to intrude, despite being repeatedly told to leave? I'm a friendly person, however, intruders uninvited are not welcome, nor will they ever be. Once again, my home is not on any roadways, airways, or waterways, therefor there is no reason for the randos that wander the mainland to come to my home. Also, if my security orb is on my parcel, it only affects those on my parcel that aren't on the allowed list. Therefor, no one is being "sniped" To intrude and ignore being told, repeatedly, to leave, that you are unauthorized and are not welcome, and expect not to be ejected is not reasonable.
  4. I use the CasperSafe orb, to track who's in my area and the Kray system (it was a gift) to make sure nothing gets in.
  5. Put it this way. If you invade my privacy, even by one second, you've DRASTICALLY overstayed your welcome. I do not enjoy unwelcome, uninvited guests. I have anxiety, and I feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable with randos intruding where they're not welcome. Don't like it? Don't come to my home uninvited. It's MY home, MY safe place, MY private sanctum. If you intrude into MY home, understand that YOU are the reason why my security system forcibly ejected you. You were an unauthorized intruder into someone's private space, and therefor, you are to blame for their security orb's aggressive negotiations. Why? Because some individuals don't listen when told to leave, so, they must be made to leave. How I see it, if you intrude into someone's private space.... 1. You are an unwelcome/invited/etc... intruder and do not belong there. 2. You are the reason why you were banned/ejected. 3. You may be one of those miserable individuals whom doesn't listen to verbal/text warnings about getting out of someone's private area. TL;DR- Don't want to be ejected? Don't intrude in other people's private spaces like a creep.
  6. My avatar's almost always wearing sunglasses, or some form of other glasses. Such as the Poison sunglasses.
  7. If you have something you like to do, inworld, or not, do it. Do it repetitively, until you become the best that you can with it. You'll at least soothe a little of the anxiety, and if you do it inworld, and it's a job, you could even earn some L$ for it. Helps with my anxiety, I know that.
  8. This is what's known as your body breaking. Basically, the lag tears you to literal pieces.
  9. So, somehow, 33 and up are "older adults", hmm? This is 125% suspicious. Even if I didn't just barely slip outside of the "accepted" 18-32 range (being 33, just so we're clear), I'd pass. But, do you. Best of luck.
  10. Meh. He doesn't mean a thing to me. I only really use FB, to stay in contact with my loved ones. But, that's about it. As for Mark, himself... Meh. He isn't really worth my time or energy to think of.
  11. I gotta go with the Catwa Queen. No matter the body. It really goes good with my Legacy body. With BoM, it's essentially seamless.
  12. I often wonder that same thing. What those idiots don't seem to understand, is that... A. It's my privacy you're attempting to violate, and I will not allow that. B. I do not care, I'm not here to please you, I'm here to enjoy my time. 3. A real life meetup is not happening, unless you're my other half, and, that position is filled. D. I'm not here, to stroke your ego, help your insecurity of what I MIGHT be on the other side of the keyboard, or any of that. E. I'm not here, least of all, to explain myself to you. I'm not a book, and, if you're someone that tries to make me explain myself, get stepping, you're not the person for me.
  13. Lol Ayashe, that's great. I've got a voice changer, actually. But, I don't have the patience to actually use it. Blocking deals with the issue faster. Puts my anxiety at ease, as well. I mean.. Unfortunately, Drake, you're not wrong. Of all the ones that ever tried, none succeeded. Some called me a b****, some this, some that, but, hey, just means they weren't worth my time. It's like .. Really? I managed to make you get mad just by refusing your "simple request," did I? Tell me again how that's my problem. Lol
  14. I can't remember all the stupidity I've encountered, but, a few things I do remember are.. Them - "Hey beautiful, looking good" or some stereotypical rendition of it Me - "Oh, hey. Don't talk to me like that. Especially when you're dating my friend." -- Them - "I don't pay for sex" Me - "It's quality over quantity" Them - *Gets mad and poofs* -- Them - *Gives me L$1, thinking I'll even bat an eye, much less go with them for their poseball stuff* Me - *Sends it back* "Would you like my rates? I'm not free." *Proceeds to pass my card* Them - *Gets mad and tries to insult me, only to get blocked in return* -- Them - "Do you voice?" Me - "No." Them - "So you're a guy" Me - "No." Them - "Then, voice verify!" *getting mad for no reason* Me - "You see me? I'm a woman, am I not?" - or something along those lines Them - "You WILL voice verify, I demand it!" Me - "I'm sorry, are you my boss?" *Blocks* -- Seriously, why guys insist on voice verification when there's generally not a chance of EVER meeting someone from SL in RL, is beyond me. Like, boy, chill, you're not going to prove or intimidate anything or anyone. Least of all, by raising your voice at me. I suggest you calm down, before I block and report you for privacy invasion.
  15. Happened to me, twice. First time, I got upgraded to mesh [hey, free SLink body lol], but then, got told I didn't look good. Things happened, but, they ended up blocked/deleted. But, if someone gives you a free folder, first of all, drop that folder in fire because, that's freebie level stuff.
  16. Lmao! Gilbert Godfried. That's almost the best thing ever. The voice of that red parrot from the Aladin animated show, and other things. I'd love to see that.
  17. Lol They should have Matthew McConaughey try. He MIGHT be able to give him a personality. Even if excessively annoying. lol
  18. Original guy - Not in the least. Perfect for Prince Charming, though. Bland, plain, and no personality to boot. Give me Jason Mamoa, Leati Joseph Anoa'i (WWE's Roman Reigns), the guy that plays Cable/Thanos, and a few others instead, for the guys. For the ladies... Angelina Jolie, Queen Latifah, Nona Gaye, and because she's cute... Faye Wong, to name a few. Though, Faye's not an actress.
  19. Yeah, that happens. Alot, it seems. lol
  20. I mean... To be perfectly honest, DFS is fun, and, you can make some money off it, but, it can very easily take away the one thing none of us can get back; time. That's why I'm glad I got away from it. The cost wasn't worth it.
  21. Ahh yes... D.F.S. Been there. Done that. NEVER again.
  22. True. But, the counter to the things spoiling/going bad, is that there is a certain time/thing to do, that will keep that timer from activating.
