This group chat issue is something that Second life has caused ,, they have altered something in the settings that is stopping Group chat from working as it was mean for ,, The whole idea of group chat is for the members of that group to able to chat as a group , to receive group notices , to be able to discuse things in an open chat ,, why is it Second Life ( LL ) have to mess with it ,, why do they not fix the issue ,, many groups are suffering because their members are unable to chat and get info
  3. Ever since the move into the cloud has been completed, there have been constant issues with group chats. I am an admin in several groups, and wish to participate in other groups, but messages aren't going through. This is starting to effect group numbers, group activity, and overall inclusivity. Being a premium member, this has been an ongoing issue for the last two months, which is becoming a joke. Having searched through the blogs, I have not seen any subjects on this matter, no comments, nothing. The overall issue is messages into group chats (including private multi-person chats), messages timing out, or messages not posting through on my side of things, and it's 50/50 if others in the group can see the messages, too. I currently use the Firestorm viewer (most recent version), but I have also tested this with the SL viewer, and the issue persists. If there is a buried blog somewhere on this subject, feel free to reply with that link so I can keep my group users up to date on this issue. Thank you

  5. Ok, we have removed those words from the land info, hope that will work, the sim is an adult sim, there is a social area, rentals, and a members only BDSM area, so we wanted to cover ourselves by putting that in there, but it seems it was wrong

  8. Dear Linden Labs, I am the owner/operator of "Bounds Broken" a business in Second Life. I have made sure to check "Show Place in Search (L$30/week)." I have asked some of our group members to check land and see if that has been checked on their view and they have told me it's not showing as checked. We've also noticed that when someone attempts to search for "Bounds Broken" in the Websearch, the business does NOT show at all. https://gyazo.com/a74fbfc3e2f94fc7a4f12e42e64b24c9 Although, when one searches "Places" it does show. https://gyazo.com/14da92d7676286d088485626f2d44872 This has been happening since we opened our business and it is costing us potential clients/group members/donators to the SIM. I'm frustrated and quite frankly fed up. I've asked in several viewer associated help groups and they have all agreed that this is a Linden Labs issue, not a viewer related issue. Most people when searching will use the default Websearch at the top of their viewer screen to search. It's only the more advanced users who tend to use the Places, People..etc, tabs.
