Hi there Yes I had found that blog post earlier today when googling 'second life' and my graphics card (AMD). I had attempted to use the workaround mentioned on that blog / in the comment section, but didn't notice a change. I'll try downloading that patch for AMD and see if that changes anything! Cheers.

Hi there. I just joined Second Life and wanted to check it out.....BUT, it seems that my computer doesn't wan't to cooperate with me. Certain people's avatars appear to be missing clothing, or certain body parts, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Example screenshot of what I mean: http://i59.tinypic.com/audrg9.png I am unsure if this 'glitch' in avatars is because i'm on a wireless laptop, or if my computer just can't handle the game? (I can play world of warcraft on it perfectly fine, though). Also I have noticed if I teleport to destinations, it can take a very long time for the surroundings to load, sometimes not loading at all and they just appear as a gray texture. Thanks for your assistance! (I have googled solutions for this and tried a few different things suggested, but am having no luck and don't know what I should attempt next).
