  1. it's always a matter of "tone". and in a text, it's important how things are phrased. The issue people have is how you implied that you have been ripped off. Being "ripped off" menas is done purposely and done maliciously. In 99% of delivery issues it's not inentionally at all. And as many many have mentioned before, creators have lives aside from SL, sometimes they can't log in for a few days in a row or even longer. Patience is the key as is being polite and kind.
  2. I am also having the same issues still. Multiple tickets were sent. The whole month of MARCH was already 0. I did receive a 2 weeks additional time added to my listing, which - did obviously help nothing cause now it's April 20th and we are still at 0. The paid amounts for listing enhancements are not peanuts. Jira's are getting closed because "doubles" . The problem still exists. Aside from paid enhancements that never fullfilled LL's part of the contract, the loss of sales that is also huge is another completely different story. Just today I got a reply back on a ticket https://gyazo.com/3432065522392b0009d9e38d6a64e761 "At this time we do not have any information or updates on this matter. " with a link leading to this post here. This is beyond frustrating.
  3. transfering the weights from the single layers to your final product.
  4. you make a single layer of your outfit without any embellishments first. just a plane single layer. no buttons, no flower, nothing else. skin that one and then copy the weight from that to your finished mesh
  5. what a "great appreciation" for a creators work who made something you liked so much that you used in for a picture...
  6. there can be so many reasons. often the geometry is simply too much or / and you have manifold geo. clean up the mesh, export as obj, re-import. and re-apply materials. Ensure it's not high poly.
  7. I do have the classic black Wednesday dress as well, but I have not made a prom inspired one yet
  8. Rosier made a version of the prom dress.
  9. you upload as tga or png justlike any other texture. in your viewer you then right click in your inventory to create a new skin and that little skin icon will appear. Name it whatever you want and wear it. then go into edit mode and you will be able to drag and drop your uploaded textures in the according slots
  10. if you set the breast slider to the same size as you model on (for most kits that would be 50), nothing should stretch. of course if you up the sliders the texture will get distorted and stretched, there is no way to avoid that.
  11. looking at a trending tab def makes more sense, but also that will not show any shopping behaviour of those avatars. hence why stats vary a lot from store to store as what they are selling in which %.
  12. please correct me if I am wrong - this looks like the numbers are accumulated since they started counting. if they are accumulated, then they say literally nothing about the current status of worn bodies.
  13. another reason to not put demos on MP specifically (quite significant for some creators) is, that the review systems gets abused and people leaving trolling bad reviews on them. while some do get removed by LL, it's always a hassle and to some straight out hurtful.
  14. in your case, the easiest way in substance is to bake "by mesh" which is a setting in your bake window. export a fbx version of your choker, where the hearts, base and buckle are separate pieces in one file. name them something like hearts_low, choker_low, buckle_low. but export as one file. for the high poly you need according names as in hearts_high, choker_high etc.. it's case sensitive. you can then load multiple files into the high poly window. when it's set to bake by mesh, it will cast shadows but not "clip" into each other.
  15. the alpha sorting is different on rigged and unrigged items. the only "workaround" I know of is when creating the mesh, make sure all alpha layers are named alphabetically and combine them from low to high. I usually just use plain numbers.
  16. 6 people since 2006, 11 objects. It takes a lot to make it to my blocklist. Usually I’m perfectly fine with just ignoring
  17. @EliseAnne85the PBR viewer is still in alpha stage, it's not released yet. it'll be a major game changer
  18. totally understandable and very valid point of view! from my own experience, customers basic wants and needs vary by A LOT. what one finds amazing, another one finds useless to them. What one absolutely needs and wants, another doesn't care about at all. I started out as selling everything mod and after plenty of personal bad experiences which had nothing to do with things being copied or not, I had switched to no mod and my life had been so much easier since then. However, I changed my way of selling a few months ago and with that I went back to sell in mod perms again. Time will tell if I will continue this way or not.
  19. MD labs releases an advent calendar yearly. the 2022 version should be on mp in the next days
  20. while this might be so with one or the other creator, those should be addressed directly imho. Generalizing it, includes also all those who have great business practices and work ethics, who truly care about their customers. I find that pretty unfair. there are black sheeps everywhere, in the end we all still are just human beings.
  21. no matter how many "logical and sensible reasons" you give to any creator to change their perms, the creator doesn't have to follow that. it's up to the creator, period. logical or not. Nothing of that justifies disrespect just because you can't have something your way. As for creators not answering.. again there can be gazillion reasons. not logged on in a while, lost IM's, overseeing the nc, being overwhlemed with deadlines and work, having personal issues etc. Being someone who gets those nc and IM's on daily bases, I can also say that a lot of considering them being nicely asking, come with a very passive agressive tone and entitlement. So I can see some creators simply not responding to those, too. I am not saying you were, more of a general observation.
  22. super super cute and creative! I'd love for something like this to be optional for situations as being in a pose, adjusted all bones and ready to take a pic then decide to change shoes. in this case I def prefer anything without animation. For all other cases, I am in love!
  23. @Rick Daylight if you know how much work goes into it, your words are even more saddening we can chose to put others down or lift them up and encourage them to do better. It’s always a choice
