  1. Or Pervert Linden was passing and decided to use his God powers.

Actually I made $ in English class, My teachers submitted several of my stories, and speaches to contests, and they came back with a grade, and a pay check. How's that for monkey grunts I still make $ from writing in SL today, but I coulden't care less about spelling, typos, or grammer in the forums, or chat. I think it is pretty obvious to all that you have little concern for the English language. I love the idea of you writing "speaches".
  3. I can understand some of the more "professional" players going premium, but I am continually astonished at the number who sign up before gaining inworld experience. Ignorance is LL's most effective sales tool, I suppose.
  4. I like the Wizard bit. And the wife calls me a git. (Hey, that rhymes!) The kids call me GOD. (Grumpy Old Dad) ((Well, it's better than Silly Old Dad))
  5. Me too, I can hear you say. But I need a new forum alt. Suggest a name. Like Hapi N'din maybe. Or Punk Chewit. Or Sue D'Onim Or . . .Watt Evah.

  7. So now you have to have 3 free alts to have the same capability as 2 premium accounts. Meh.

I also did figure out the problem with silencing the music in the program so that I can only hear it in world, but still have yet to figure out why it's playing music I did not queue up when I hit the play button in the deck. OK Rule 1 - Basics of using the Music Playlist Queue - When using the Auto DJ Mode or Play Queue, Don't ever Press the Play Button on the A or B Decks. Simple. Rule 2 - To start the playlist in the queue when Auto DJ Mode is not selected, simply double click on the top song in the queue. SAM will do the rest. SAM will populate the A & B Decks with the next song to be played directly from the [playlist] Queue. At the end of the currently playing song SAM will use the between song cross fading metric setting to lower the volume of the current song and gradually raise the volume of the next song. Usually the only time you use the Play Button in the queue is when you want to play a pre-loaded song on top of the current song. Ii do this with beat matching and by manually managing the Deck Volume Levels to do a manual swap over when I feel creative. Normally this is way too much work. P.S. An in-world class will jump start your DJing skills techniques .....The DJ talent is mostly up to you and your abilities. I think you need to write shorter sentences KM. Most DJs I have met lack the concentration to be able to read more than ten words in a row.

I'd have to say I am with the school on this one. Wouldn't be my girls. The coversation would be something like this. Dad: Go change. Daughter: But Dad... Dad: Shut up ya know why. lmao End of conversation. lmao Best of luck with that. (Next thing you know Velk will be admitting that he keeps his daughters locked up in a cellar while he plays SL.)
  11. Has this anything at all to do with SL? Apart from LL's enforced paranoia regarding the phenomenon, that is. Despite its effective encouragement, by allowing kid avatars to thrive.
  12. Well, you could always try to win a free lottery . . .

  14. So, what makes you think that a free lottery with lots of money might be a scam?

  17. Well done Mods for relocating this thread so quickly!
  18. They look AWFUL! Like something a redneck from small-town mid-America might imagine a cultured Los Angeleno (note the oxymoron) home might look like. Still there's lots of other know-nothings who watch too much tv who might be interested. AND THIS IS THE GENERAL DISCUSSION FORUM. NO ADVERTISING!!!
  19. By the way, did you hear about the dyslexic sailor who spent the whole of his shore leave in Bangkok in a warehouse?
  20. Come on girls! Wear as little as you like to protest against dress codes that reflect attitudes sexualising the female body. Mind you, I'd prefer it if some of the pretty ones could push their way to the front of the photos, rather than allowing those with linebacker thighs to demonstrate the real reason they should not be wearing shorts. PS Don't Canadian women have anything better to do? PPS Derek has advised me that, given the general state of Canadian men, they probably don't.

  22. EphraimRex wrote: http://i62.tinypic.com/20idq8z.jpg Do you consider this to be a child-looking avatar? Give reasons for why you think it looks or does not look childlike. No, it just looks like green text to me. How many reasons do you need to explain the difference between green text and a child-looking avatar?
