  1. To each their own, some will like, some will dislike. Demos are there to see if you want it or pass it. Personally I love my Genus Baby, purchased after buying Classic and Strong which I am not liking.
  2. You dont need to give your life story, but as this is not real face to face interaction, find out if your expectations and hers on the want and how far ought to be same. Get that clarified early. If you dont wish to be rushed, burned, hurt or end up with a psycho, there is no guarantee of happiness without some risk. Use your head and your gut, not only your heart, recognize the red flags if any.
  3. Word of advice: If you do use Glam Affair skin, the Maitreya HUD is no longer usable with the new skins they came out with (if you are looking for a match). This is the skin if you buy it from the Glam Affair & Tabeau store. The skins from the Glam Affair II store still sells skins that is compatible with the Maitreya HUD.
  4. The 2-piece bikini pic is my current The purple haired monokini pic is my DAY ONE.
  5. I don't think I met many who were non-dramatic, it is either drama at start or drama later on petty stuff to serious stuff. In the end, it's great to have friends but keep it sweet and not too serious, seen a ton of relationships fall from grace as SL gives so much opportunities to fail through drama, infidelity, etc. Sl is a great place to have fun and make friends, but its really your PC being chummy with their PC.
  6. Looks like standard to me. There is no mention about appliers. If you are going to go with paying for a standard avi skin/shape at a sum of 2000, consider the option of mesh body too. There are people out there against mesh, they can talk all they want and not all their reasons are upfront...this is your lindens and your avi...consider both before you decide to shell out 2000
  7. If you are looking to be hired, do yourself a favor and market yourself. Post pictures in the post. Tell us about your experiences as a model (if you have any or not), tell us about your expectations, what are your likes and dislikes. Just by reading your title-only post, I am seeing no energy or drive to make yourself known, you want us to hire you provided we ask you for your stuff (and if you even bother to respond), and "anyone wanna..." says nothing other than you cannot spell Compared to other posts where I have seen people put pictures, some info on themselves and so on, those are far better prospects to bother with. If you still got the noob look, freebie clothes and stuff, you are far behind in the competition. To get results, you need to put out and look your best. I model. I put out my best. I get my shoots. That is how it works.
  8. Hi Janita: I loved my avi before mesh. It was beautiful, it looked great, attracted many. People in mesh had issues, fitting, alphas, body parts, and so on. I was in no hurry to "upgrade." That, and the notion I will no longer be able to wear my old clothes due to it not being mesh body compatible for the most part. A friend who wore Maitreya asked me to try it, I did my research on the Net on the pros and cons of Maitreya versus the others. Considered demoing the Maitreya and it was very easy to use, I didnt have any issues with fitting, alphas and body parts. Oh but the horror of no longer wearing my pre-mesh body clothing. Big decision had to be made. I chose to go Maiteya after trying TMP and Slink. Used my old shape, had to re-buy skin too becasue my original skin didn't do mesh body. Discarded my old skin, my old clothes and stuff...that was slightly painful LOL. Been with Maitreya for almost a year now. Recently purchased a mesh head after one or two months of consideration as well. I love the curve, the smoothness and skin contrast over the body....like looking at a fine painting versus a crayon coloring. All AVIs will look the same as the ad, but thatis why we have sliders to customize our AVIs to look unique according to our taste and preference. Personally I tweak and alter my AVI slightly here and there every so often. You got big decisions to make to go mesh or not. It is your lindens, your choice, not ours to make ti for you. Go with what you feel is right, nothing wrong with waiting either.
  9. I am going to tend to agree with Alwin's insight on this. More importantly is what's inside versus what's on the outside. To the question. The "Best" is moot, it is not always the most expensive, the flashiest, or the most popular. Depending on the desired look you wish, many small things can add up to a big cost. In addition to skin and shape, there are other things to choose: eyes, hair, AO, clothes. Hope you find what you like and get the girl at the end :womanhappy:
  10. Try to explore the female hair in CATWA in the online marketplace, they can be long, curly, full and so on .
  11. I hardly get hit on by guys.... I am RL female with a SL female avi. I dress in fashion, wearing some makeup. I love to change my hairstyle, hair color and eye color on a daily basis. The comments that i normally receive are compliments on my look, most are not vulgar or wanting me to have sex. Girls also hit on me, they are more aggressive in my experience, but they aren't vulgar in their IMs. I don't frequent sex sims where I am sure patrons of those sims are more open to vulgarity and being open about their intentions. I do agree with other posters that if by chance you do receive unwanted or offensive IMs, either mute the person, teleport away or grow a thick skin. Sometimes it is just being anywhere at the wrong time is all.
  12. I own a Maitreya Lara body and I love it! The alpha HUD is awesome but I use it for my regular mesh clothing that doesnt have the Omega or Maitreya appliers. Clothing for Maitreya, I found many clothes in MP under search "Maitreya (clothing)" Try and visit MP every week, I visit it evey day, to see soemthign you like under the Maitreya or Omega appliers category.
  13. Hi Jay or Alex: Most employers prefer applicants to go to the workplace or contact them in-world for applications. Looks better to an employer when they see a person coming to them for work instead of posting an ad and sitting back, waiting for IMs. Many employers don't explore the forums every day for candidates. Good luck in your hunting and applying!
  14. Hi Aapthy: Do a search on groups and sims that share common interests with you. Also include those that you are curious or open to visit. Start off with that. At first, unless you are used to a lot of chatter in busy sims, it can be overwheliming. Just be patient in those busy ones, join the conversation and go form there. You might hit it off right away, or you may not...but persistence is the key. Good luck!
  15. Daimond: Depending on your interests, search for sims or groups that you are interested in. In those sims, you may meet a lucky guy who shares the same interest as you, he may or may not have his own home and land. The rest on how it goes beyond that is all up to you and him.
  16. Hi Arizona: Did you have a certain type of work that you like to work in? It helps when we know what sort of industry you are interested in. Many employers also require a certain minimum age (as in days you have been in SL).
  17. Phil: My point exactly if you understood my example. SL is a 3d chatroom, its a game, its a social media site, its virtual reality, each person will say what they perceive is right...accept or disagree on their own opinion, however some do get emptionally upset about it.
  18. We put a cut half of an orange on the table. We ask a panel on people on what they see. Mr. A says he sees a fruit. Ms. B says she sees a dome shaped object. Mr. C says he sees something orange in color. Ms. D says she sees something juicy and ripe. Each person is comfortable in their own setting to describe what they see as correct. All of them can get offended amd disagree with each other, or they can accept that it is more than what they see.
  19. Sent you an in-world message just now. Thanks
  20. Maria: One of the things that all managers and employers want to make sure is you follow instructions. In this case, to apply for a dancer position, please: "Contact Casidei Resident inworld."
  21. Hi fritz: You would have better luck by taking the initiative and applying at places that pique your interests. In this Employment forums, there are many listed opportunities for hosts. Respond to the ones you like and set up an interview. Employers need workers but they prefer the kind that is willing to come and apply, rather than post and sit back for IMs and offers.
