That's an easy solution. Limit the number of times you can change it in a 6 month period or something. The name change is the one thing I don't like about sl. They could at least give everyone with a username who signed up between 2011 and 2019 or whatever one free name change where you can add a last name.

I've been here for 8 years so I know I'm staying lol. I don't like being "resident" but I think the way to change it is ridiculous so I'll keep it. I think it was stupid to get rid of last names in the first place.

I know how it works. But I'm not going to pay for premium and then the extra $39.99 for a name change. That's ridiculous. Worth it for some but not for me. I would like to just pay for a name change because I don't want or need premium. I'm probably not alone in this. I'm sure there are a lot of people who signed up during the username era who would like a last name.

What do you mean by "orbed"? Are you banned or did they just TP you home? If you're not banned, you can try going back and see what happens. If they send you home again then they probably don't want you there for some reason. Either because of something you've said/did, mistaken identity, they just didn't like something about your avi/profile, or whatever. We really don't know by just hearing your side. If it was for no reason then it's a bit troubling that it's in the destination guide which is what most noobs use for initial exploring, but ultimately, sim owners can ban anyone they want and that's something newbies will learn about SL sooner or later.

I'm confused as to how your computer is able to run SL but is out of date for everything else.

It depends. If it's just a normal animal, it's cute. If it's an animal that has a human dick hanging out, it's 100000000% creepy.

If you want to play as a child avi, fine. But you can't act like it's not a little weird. With that said, it's not right that you are being harassed for it because at the end of the day anyone can have any avi they please.

Like others have said, if you don't want anyone camming you when you're in your skybox, your best bet is to rent a small parcel and check the box that prevents anyone from seeing avatars on that parcel. The other thing you can do is try on demos at an empty sim.

Meh. I don't feel any way about this. I got over gacha a few years ago. It was fun at first but I realized I was wasting money trying to get a particular item and I've found that gacha items are poorer quality than non-gacha items.

You're right, which is why I wasn't against the idea.

Idk. There's really no point having to having badges in SL. It would make more sense if it was a video games with quests and achievements and things but for a virtual world where everyone uses it for different things? Nah. I'm not against the idea. It could be fun, just a bit pointless.

If it was a copy item, log out and in again and it will be in your lost and found. If it was a non-copy item, it's gone forever.

Do you have mesh floors? Rez a prim rug and try to rez it on that.

I haven't tried any of the newer bodies. I prefer a very skinny look and I think all of the newer popular bodies lean the other way. I still use maitreya.

I just switched to bom last week. I like that it's made my avi's complexity lighter. That's about it. I don't really have strong feelings towards it one way or the other.

I guess. I like to have all of the graphics on the highest settings all the time, including shadows. I sometimes forget not everyone is like me.

This is weak, especially for SL.

I agree with this. It makes me want to leave Catwa. I get so frustrated using the HUD.
