    Question re: Linden Home

    I've been looking all over trying to find an explanation of the difference between 'set' land to group and 'deed' land to group for a Linden home and just can't find it anywhere.

    If my partner and I are both owners in a group, are the only members of the group, and my Linden home is 'set' to group, will we have to pay at the end of the month?

    I ran into an issue with this a year or so back and I can't remember how it transpired but I wound up being faced with extra payment for a Linden home that was not over my land size / prim allotment for my account.  It all had to do with having the land in a group and I can't remember the particulars of the situation.

    My reason for asking all of this is because if I cannot set the land to group without being charged extra, it leaves a person no alternative than to leave rez open for the other person using this home. This endangers the other parcels by leaving the land open to grief.

    I am also confused about the covenant as it says in one spot land cannot be set to a group then in another spot says that it can. 

    Also in the covenant, it says this.

        1. Go to https://support.secondlife.com/ and submit a ticket.
        2. Select the Land and Region ticket type.
        3. Under the resulting dropdown, select Linden Homes.

    I tried to submit a ticket, but this selection (2) was not available to me. 

    The whole thing has left me confused.   Am I not allowed to share my home with another person without having to pay more?   If my partner has their own Linden home, will being owner in the group that I set my linden home add to their land use fees?

    Moo Town Games?

    From what I have heard via the rumor mill, apparently the online gambling laws changed in the state they live in. The only option they had was to upend their entire life and to move to another state which is not possible for them. Any semblance of gambling could get them jail time or a huge fine at the least. That would include payouts too I suppose.   I guess, technically even getting paid out is a gamble at that stage.  It's a gamble no matter what side you're looking at it from. We win some, we lose some hey?

    They sent a notice citing changes in policy.

    "Unfortunately do to a change in Linden Lab policy Moo Town Games is temporarily closed. However we can still make games for SL and therefore No Devil is still available to play within SL. We appreciate all the patronage throughout the years and your continued support as we navigate these new waters. Thank you."

    Their website is still up, mootowngames.com

    This is on the owners profile: "If you have questions or concerns about Moo Town or our products please send an email to support@mootowngames.com Thank you."

    Just so you know, it is not abandoned, she was afk for a period of time dealing with RL. I only saw one spammer in there, although they did hit every channel.   They've since been dealt with and things are rolling again :)

    Do you mean, they don't make their own mesh?

    If that's the case, well that's not something that really matters to me, I just want nice things to cover my nakedness.  I'm still looking for more conservative things, I have been using several of that are referred to as dresses... for tops. 

    It would be so nice to have some respectable clothes for this body.

    I am one of the lucky winners of this body.  It's absolutely beautiful. I see new things available for it on a daily basis, and while the biggest names in designers may not pick it up, the ones that are have been turning out some nice outfits and will only become competition for the ones at the top when people start trying the demo and making their purchase.  The discord group has new outfits released almost daily and  It will get better in time, I'm sure, because the body itself is better than any other I've seen and used.

    The memorial garden

    I rarely post in the forum, but I'm curious about this. For over a year now, when I go to the memorial gardens, the scripts are stuck on the flower setter.  

    I wish they would fix this.

    I don't mean to be crass, but I think LL is benefitting from more membership during this pandemic, while many in here have lost loved ones.

    The ability to designate a flower with someone's name on it, helps the hurt.

    The candles that you send off into the sea work very well, but it would be nice to see the flowers working again.

    That's all.

    P.S.  I would pay for a flower memorial, I'm sure many would.

    Shadow Map creator needed

    Hi :)

    I need some help..... 

    I'm not a creator.  

    I have a couple of programs I use to texture things, one is paint shop pro, the other is gimp.... I won't run pirated programs and I can't afford Photo Shop.   

    My avi is maitreya and ..... pregnant.

    I have a job in SL and can't really wear most of the stuff in MP for pregnant avis... most of it is far too revealing.  I need a semi professional look.  There's some things on MP that are great for 'later'.

    I found a dress on MP full perm that I figure will get me through most of the first two trimesters.   But the shadow map doesn't have enough on it to make it look like anything but 'flat'.

    I've watched tutorials until I'm blue in the face but the end result of my work is always disappointing.  Furthermore, I don't really have the time that's required to learn these techniques. I know that creators spend endless hours learning and building... I appreciate that.

    Is there anyone in here, who, If I purchased the full perm kit for, would consider making me some suitable wrinkles on a shadow map? Just so I can make myself some things to wear?  Is it legal to do that?  Or... is there anyone in here who would have something already made that I can purchase from?  This isn't a commercial venture, it's just for me.

    Wow!

    I am going through this forum because I want to start learning to make machinima.  I stumbled onto your work and I am absolutely amazed at the quality and level of creativity that must have gone into this video.

    This was beautifully done and I hope you are very proud of it.

    Who ever you are, you have a brilliant and extremely talented creative mind.

    This really was awesome.
