  2. hello wherorangi and thanks for help steps 1) pick a channel number that is negative and is a large value. Large and negative reduce the chances of channel collision with other scripts not your own. Low and positive channel numbers incur collisions more frequently 2) use the 'name' parameter in the sender script llListen to filter the objects (scripted senders) that the receiver script listens for 3) in the receiver script check that the owner of the sender script is the same owner of the receiver script can you explain please the second step

The idea is as follows If an Avatar wear an object with same receiver of mine and same channel number ..this object will change as well as the object mine and it will take my texture I test it in two objects with different owners and the other object changed too. So this scripts are not reliable that is why i was thinking to change numbers in names and numbers to be more reliable

  5. thanks to all for your answers Qie yes i want something like that ...or different i will explain here here is scripts  this scripts says and listens only numbers .. so there is a way that can listens letters too. or can you help me with another script ( texture changing hud ) all i have founded in net only scripts similar to those above.

    many thanks to all for your helps ..it's nice of you what about second image ? it is also made by a 3d software ? i think it is made without rendering .. what do you think ?
  8. hello everyone i have a question , many designers shows them vendors pictures with 3d on it i'd like to know if they do that in photoshop... i mean they exports 3d in photoshop and they move it on picture ? when i try to do the same i have a annuying black around 3d but in the vendors the 3ds looks cleans . here some exemples :

Jake , Kwakkeelde many thanks I tried this in a torus, i deleted some edges and i end up with 1200 triangles ..before it was 1600 but when i try to do more than that the geometry go deformed a torus with 100 triangle ..just waww .. can you please show a picture how it look with triangles on it ..I'd love to arrive too :matte-motes-smile:
  12. Hello Kwakkelde and thank you I posted a thread about that here : how to reduce a dae file size ? i think too that 1600 is over for a simple torus..can you please give me some advises on how to reduce triangles .. i use maya as software ?

  14. hello again i uploaded a torus in main grid same problem but i do something i uploaded a torus from blender and it upload perfectly so i think is a maya problem .. maybe i have some complications i have to fix many thanks Chic, arton :matte-motes-wink:

Are you trying to upload all those pieces at once? yes Did you JOIN THEM? i combine only 3 rings showen with sphere Did you apply location, rotation and scale before export? what do you mean by location? but i made a rotation and scale yes this is the entire image in aploader : But i tried to upload a simple torus and the same problem.. deformed in the uploader : in beta grid i wood like to say that im new in 3d world so thanks for your support:matte-motes-grin:
