  1. Oh, Lindal... I had no idea. Thank you for saying goodbye. More importantly, thank you so very much for everything you've done and all the lives you've touched. Your inspirational light shines forever bright, like a resonating and priceless jewel within our hearts. ...And irrefutably, because anything else I'd want to say has pretty much already been said here. Be well and safe paths 💜
  2. Question: What if I go thru all the trouble of contacting you, but we find out we're playing the same game already? Answer: I check profiles. Either: A) you're already in a guild, and I wonder what your guild leader isn't doing for you that led you to this forum post ... or B) you haven't found the right guild or haven't checked out what's been going on inside this game lately (you might be a very casual player) ---> Both options are potentially good and equally work in both our favors.
  3. Hola, KataCream7, envíeme un mensaje directamente cuando esté en línea y estaré encantado de configurarlo.
  4. Thank you for not privately messaging me about this, like I had suggested earlier, so I could give more details freely and explain why it wouldn't be.
  5. Question: Why are you coming to the forums to recruit for your game guild? If you've been playing this game as long as you say you have, wouldn't you already know others enough to recruit from within your game?? Answer: I am coming to the forums to try to gain a fresh perspective. I have helped SL newcomers before, and I figure that it might be a treat to even teach a long-time resident something new. Newer residents can get a better understanding of how "typical" SL may work, and older residents may like being able to earn steady money on one screen while playing this game with us + maybe continue building or something on another screen with their main account. Yes, this game really is that easy (and fun, too!). Now, I am also trying to recruit from within the game. I can only speculate on most reasons why it's not necessarily working. Perhaps the best problem I can think of is that, for example, in Diablo, you're going to have THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of people playing + that many guild pages/options, as well. In the game within SL that we're playing, it doesn't consist of quite so many active players. In fact, with the number of guilds there are, it seems to leave us with "too many cooks in the kitchen" (and perhaps it gets a bit worse every day). ...I would like to come together and build a great mini-gaming community with others. SL isn't necessarily competitive like this (gaming-wise), in general. It might possibly be more about artwork, IMO. But the people who do competitive gaming within SL, are all there, already leading (and possibly lacking members to lead). Please don't let this opportunity slip away amongst that... Playing this game is pretty easy. Yet still... I come to you, the people of the forums. Because you're very smart and I always learn a LOT from you. I would like to ask for not only your help, but I want to help too. I love helping. I love strategizing. Allow me to show you why I think this game is much more worthwhile with your presence!
  6. Question: Can you voice with me to move things along faster? Answer: Of course. I've been told that Discord has better voice quality, but I'm more than happy to do that in SL too. You do not have to talk (you may type questions to me, if you'd rather), as long as you can listen (and interact in some way), I totally don't care! 😉
  7. Question: Is this really worth it? L$300 doesn't sound like much. How much do you make daily from it & can I make as much as you? Answer: Remember how I said there were quite a few things to do in this game in a previous Q & A reply? There are 3 main ATMs for the different aspects of the game. If you are just starting out, you are allowed to cash out L$300 per 24-hour period from all 3 ATMs (that's actually a L$900 daily limit for beginners). Me, myself, I've been playing for a very long time... and although I know how each aspect of the game works, I prefer 2 out of the main 3. Right now I can cash out up to L$1k per day from each ATM, but often there have been many days where I am stuck in RL, and have still been able to cash out for numerous days on end without having played at all (yus, it can pay region tier)! At this point, I'm playing for fun and would rather be teaching you how to do it. And I can. We can. It just takes an open mind and some dedication.
  8. Question: How "hands-on" is this guild of yours? What if I like working independently? Answer: After initial orientation, you may work in peace to do whatever aspects of the game appeal to you most (or all aspects, whatever you wish). But should you run into any questions or trouble, we are always around to help you and take care of you. You can cash out daily. At the end of the guild cash-out period, you are entitled to your cut of guild funds, and may continue until next guild cash-out, and so on. You can clearly see guild funds in your stat text at any given time (you will also be shown how to do this). The more people we have in our guild working, the faster we can cash out and divvy L$ cuts.
  9. Wow. I've tried to read the article you linked twice (thank you for doing that). I've not heard of such a thing before. In this game, you earn L$. And we already know that L$ can already be bought and sold thru Tilia, in general on SL. So I'm not exactly sure how to answer this. Many games in SL do operate that way. A player can cash out up to L$300 per day, starting out. This is not done thru me, you must register a dedicated email to the game's ATM and be verified first. ...All I'm trying to do is also get players to join my guild so that we rank up as a group. And once our treasury reaches the cash-out goal, we cash out and divvy it up. You are able to keep track of all those stats at any given time. Sincerely. Plain and simple. I'm sorry if this didn't answer your question! I can try better with more specific questions or perhaps with direct messages.
  10. Anyone can cash out daily, once verified by the game's system. The game's system security does require a dedicated email of your choice. The beginner's cash-out limit is L$300 per day. In addition to whatever you can personally cash out daily, the guild treasury also grows. All stats are kept on the game's website. Anyone in the guild is able to see any member's stats too, to be able to see how hard anyone has worked and verify what they should be earning from the guild. ...I would also be happy to provide more information for you in direct messages (to prevent other guilds from catching on and copying)!
  11. No, there is never a fee to join groups you need to play this game. Also, I was just about to address your other question... Question: Is this a pay-to-play type of game? Answer: No. There are a LOT of things you can do in the game we're playing, for absolutely free (and just earn L$). There are also quite a few ways to earn whatever you need. You are never expected to pay anything into what we're doing. However, if you do like what you're doing and get more involved, you might consider investing in certain types of equipment and such (as with the majority of games you will find throughout the universe), but that is also what the guild is here for --to help you!
  12. Question: What is the nature of the type of work I'd be doing? Answer: It is virtually limitless. I know that the big 3 types of jobs that drive the SL economy are land barons, escorts, and creators. "Maybe I'm not quite ready for all that," you might say, or, "Can I get a bit of an introduction to some of that?" Well, you're in luck! The game we play is mostly very easy introductory point-and-click stuff. There are more involved sports (including hunting, trivia, helping others with their farms) ... And/or you can also do RP things like host, help, greet, bartend, security, dance, model, master/mistress, craft, collect, and just be visiting, for example. Some of those RP things have a second tier, but they're very easy to get certified for. There are also breedables in this game. And you can make things to sell too.
  13. Question: Can I make an alt to play this game to fund my main account or something? Answer: Yes. As long as no other alt or your main avatar play this game. Also, you might have more fun if your alt has payment info. on file, as some lands do not allow access unless they have such.
  14. • Ideally, you have about 2-3 hours per day (or more, and occasionally less, of your choice) to devote to this type of job for at least a few months (after giving it a fair try, if you like what you are doing, you are highly encouraged to consider continuing on with us) • You will be paid in L$, directly (all of us have a devoted email for this game, you will need one of your choice as well). You start off being able to cash out L$300 at all 3 ATMS, daily (so beginners' daily cash-out limit is L$900 per day). • Only 2-3 group slots are needed (one to use the ATM, one if you wish to use our guild's land scripts, and one revolving/open slot for any other lands you may visit also to enable game scripts) • One profile pick is possibly needed (so you can enter a contest and earn even more L$) ... Although this is optional, it is a sure-fire way to make more money quicker • The more you work, the more L$ you get (both daily, as well as from team funds that build up over time <--- yes, that's why this is a few-month stint ... It is important for me to mention that if you decide to leave the guild before we reach a cash-out point, it's fine, but you also surrender your cut of guild funds to those still remaining in the guild). • The more you show you like what you're doing and "want it" the more equipment, advice, and help you will get to help rank you up (to, in turn, help you make even more money) • Orientation and training are provided, absolutely free of charge (it may take some time to learn everything, but hour increments seem to be the goal of everyone's attention span ... individual IMs can go on until one needs a break, understandably) • We work hard to make sure everyone is treated fairly so they can love the game as much as we do. If you need anything, all you have to do is ask and we do our very best. We don't like rules that bog everyone down, so we have very few (that do make sense) so we can all expedite accomplishing the common goals that we're all after • This is an opportunity to learn about teamwork, loyalty, leadership and honor, all while traveling the grid to meet wonderful people that may help network with any other business ventures or goals you may also have in your SL Although this forum post will be checked from time to time, you are encouraged to reply inworld to me with any questions, concerns, or/and to express interest (yus, I get offline messages, please make sure you're able to read offline messages that I may respond to you with ... NCs are also fine ... Discord is "MajikVixen" or "MajikVixen #7616"). Be well, cool residents! We look forward to making some history with you! 😁
  15. ...It's already done. All I knew ahead of time (when I was still running Intel) was that the CPU fan made a LOT of noise, so that indicated to me that it was going to go out, and I worked with that the best I could. I wish it had never been an issue. I could have saved myself so much heartache. I'm unsure at this point whether all the complications from the unprofessionalism of putting this back together, in its complete functional state, are solid or not. I don't even care about AMD anymore. I care that they also broke my port in the process (and omitted that information) and that has caused all kinds of unnecessary BS. But, thank you. I hope that in case anyone else decides to upgrade from fans to liquid, your comment helps them before it's too late.
  16. I think this can be marked as "SOLVED" (and I would like to thank everyone very much for their help and efforts). ...Here's why I think so... *points to picture* This pic is the best that my cell phone can do. It was taken at the original repair place, when my computer was in pieces, right after they told me that the original plan of upgrading the cooling system from fans to liquid had been compromised, because the motherboard needed to be replaced. Apparently, you can zoom in on certain browsers (like, for Chrome it's via the "Ctrl" key + mouse scroll wheel). This pic was taken when I still had Intel. The big silver square was where my CPU fan was. Now... In the later discovery of my front USB ports not functioning properly (with my wireless mouse and keyboard --making it look as tho there was Operating System lag and/or miscommunication)... the working theory became that the original repair place had not connected the front USB ports to the new AMD motherboard correctly (as the USB ports in the new altered back of the computer work just fine)... To the untrained-in-computer-stuff eye, this picture looks pretty clean... I can not see any cracks or signs of force. However, the new repair place pointed above and slightly to the right, where my CPU fan was, and could very plainly tell me that they broke my port (and had obviously omitted that information). The broken port fix was to plug in directly to the motherboard. Now it seems that not only do both my wireless devices work correctly, but the OS and the whole thing are just fine. What a lot of trouble and confusion because of some unprofessionalism ... Be very careful who you take your computers to! I highly recommend checking out local mom-and-pop places first. Thank you.
  17. Ah, ok. I actually didn't have much choice in the matter. I brought the computer in simply to upgrade the cooling system from fans to liquid, and then they told me that the motherboard was gone and needed to be replaced. They originally wanted me to pay for it. But I went to the store manager and explained that it was working when I brought it in, and I expected to leave with it working as well. They agreed and replaced it with what was in stock and what could be ordered the fastest. I wasn't consulted about the replacement pieces other than that. I'm just trying to deal with the aftermath as best as I can. Thank you! 💜 The new technician and I are going to work on that in the next couple of days, since we figured out this was likely the big culprit as to why things look like "lag." Helpful, thank you. I will also mention this to the new technician and see what they think. 💜 Worse case scenario is looking like the motherboard doesn't have enough power for the front ports, or that they simply weren't connected correctly. And I might just get a USB hub for the back... ...I was just worried that this type of thing could spread to the rest of the computer, eventually rendering it completely useless. The last time I ever saw anything like this was when I accidentally spilled vape juice on my laptop. Even plugging in external keyboards wouldn't save it. That keyboard needed to be replaced. This is why I worry that this issue with the desktop might not be quarantined to just my front USB ports. But hopefully, it's just something simple. IDK.
  18. Yes, they just gave me whatever was available in stock. So I guess this is good, that it's slightly better. That is comforting, and thank you for the confirmation. I noticed that the mouse was halting or sticking: https://gyazo.com/d69aef53292569ce208b7bd87054e551 https://gyazo.com/3feea4512e3da1c75d0d902bc9046818 iTunes was the first culprit. It did this even outside of iTunes unless the program was minimized. In SL it was too minor to know when to capture, but also did occur at times and it worried me. I have both a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. I was told to plug them into the front USB ports when I got this computer, so I always have. Now that the back/inside/motherboard/CPU has changed, the new technician and I have tried plugging them into the back and now the mouse does NOT stick anymore. Also, the keyboard no longer omits letters I'm typing or types strings of letters that I did not, with it also being plugged directly into the back. ...So the deduction here is that my front USB ports are going (or were not connected to the new motherboard correctly), and there is, apparently, no more "lag." Thank you so very much for all your other tips too! When I get back into SL, if I see any more "lag" glitches I will also go ahead and try your "disabling the 'dynamic' texture memory settings" too, thank you very much for the suggestion! 💜 I will also try "configuring the swap file for a fixed size" too, thank you! 💜 I will also "make sure to enable the 'Performance' mode" too, thank you! 💜 Ok, yes, and I will "disable the 'game mode'" too, thank you! 💜 And cool, yes, I will "enable threaded rendering (+30 to +50% fps in SL) and disable Vsync if it is enabled" too... Thank you, thank you! 💜🤘
  19. ...Getting closer... Original repair shop changed the back of the computer (as well as the inside), so USB ports only work in the back and are now, apparently, going in the front. ...If you want to know who to NOT take your computer to, please PM me and I'll be glad to tell you! 🤬
  20. Desperately seeking advice because I found a better repair place that guarantees their work (for a little less than a week now)... And then the insurance runs out on my computer in December... Somewhere between upgrading the cooling system from fans to liquid, the original repair place told me that the motherboard/CPU needed to be replaced. They replaced the MoBo/CPU with what was in stock. Published benchmarks say the AMD Ryzen 5 is comparable with the Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 (or even slightly better). However, I doubt those are done just for SL (which is really only what I use this for). I've tried to research... All I've found is that AMD is apparently more expensive and that there are, resultantly, more published results for Intel. The new repair place did have me reinstall the Operating System and made sure I'm now running on the correct drivers ...But I'm still not particularly happy (and all my neighbors likely know it too) because it seems there's more lag and halting than when I had Intel, overall (even outside of SL). Both drives have been checked and are not going. I'm wondering if my settings should be quite different than what I used before, to improve performance ... Or if there's anything else anybody can think of that I could ask the current repair person who guarantees their work, before time runs out... 21. ...If I were at the point where I couldn't log on because of BugSplat... I would try a reinstall of FS. And maybe before that, I would log on with the regular SL Viewer to ask the FS group what they think too. Good luck!
  22. That's okay, I certainly appreciate your response I see. This makes sense! Thanks! ...What I have are wearables, but they are no mod. So I guess it's not TOO much of a big deal. Cool beans! Thanks so much! I kinda feel the same, LOL! Cool! "Unboxed" will go in the description, then. Good to know about the permissions and if it's a wearable or rezable as to why boxes would be important. Thank you for explaining that too! I see! These are no copy and no mod wearables, so I think I'm in a bit of luck. Your last note is helpful in determining price too. I guess I could start somewhere and if it doesn't sell in a reasonable amount of time, I could reconsider. Thank you! Yes! I know, LOL! Believe me! I was actually in on that part of the forum as a bit disappointed with the TOS change. How this specifically happened to me was: I really wanted a specific item for myself, and didn't mind the other pieces (because they're actually all very nicely made)... But the script in this "not-gacha" only cycled ONCE an hour, which I found extremely annoying, even with my alt hovering over it (also thanks go to my ISP for all the connectivity issues, adding a bit of stress to that, kinda forcing me to push it, LOL)... Plus, yeah, luck gave me all the other pieces, before the one I wanted more than anything... And then after trying all of them on, I actually found that I love the way a more common piece looks on me, especially, better than the one I held out for! ...The only thing I think I might have done wrong is not following the "no demo, no sale" rule of thumb, but, I kinda feel like it was worth it because I've never seen anything look as gorgeous as this in all my years and travels 💜 ...So, yeah, after all that, I figure it wouldn't hurt to see if I could resell it to maybe help others out who might find themselves in a similar situation + it would be nice to possibly recoup some L$... I'm thinking that maybe a complete set would be better to resell than just the individual pieces, hopefully, but we'll see! Thanks for all your advice too!
  23. I figured as much. Nobody else has a full set that I can find... MP is acting weird lately and ignoring blatant names of items by bringing up 50 pages of what it thinks are keywords. Although, I did find some individual pieces at around L$100 and the easier-to-find rare pieces around L$500. 14 What I spent was close to region tier... But that was for every piece I have, not necessarily just the complete set. Maybe somewhere below that, and I can do some consideration for what I did already see on the MP. Otherwise, true, true. This gives me a better idea, thank you very much!
  24. Hello! I have a similar question in the commerce>merchants part of the forum, but it dawns on me that I might only attract answers from other merchants there... I'm also interested in what consumers might think... In general, what guidelines do you use to figure out a fair/"worth-it" price, when buying a complete set of gacha-like items? I'm not so sure that everyone is like me and would buy the hard-to-find/get something that they want, at whatever the price. I would, however, like to be fair on the price RE: both the consumer and creator/reseller sides. And does it matter to you whether or not all the boxes have been opened in the complete set that you're buying? Should I include the original boxes, or is that cheesy? Or is it better to sell the complete set with the 3 irreplaceable ones that I opened, and then everything else in the set of 14 unopened (and, of course, specify such)... or am I overthinking this and perhaps comparing it to RL too much? ...Thank you for your thoughts!
  25. Hello! OMG, I willingly spent close to region tier getting a whole set of something, LOL... But now I want to resell it. Individual components and one complete set... The individual parts seem easy to figure out as far as pricing goes, I can just look up what others are selling them for on MP, remember what I paid to get each item, and then I can make a fair enough judgment call. However, the complete set I wanna resell is what's throwing me for a loop, as I've never actually resold a complete set before... My first important question is: In general, what do you gacha-like item resellers use for guidelines as to how to figure out your complete set price? ...I should also say that I did open up some items to try them on... But it's not necessarily like RL collectibles, where the value plummets when the item has been opened, right? Or is it? IDK. In theory, I could make the complete set be all the opened boxes and include the original boxes, just in case someone wants them... or is that cheesy? Or is it maybe better to just sell the complete set with: the 3 irreplaceable ones that I opened, and then everything else in the set of 14 unopened, and mix other open ones from the set into my individual listings (and, of course, specify that I've opened them)? I seriously don't know the best way to do all this & would appreciate any advice ...thanks for cluing me in!
