We all know how the SL development has worked out, with creation bugs that are now 8 years old. Dude, if, after 8 years, it aint fixed as a bug it must be considered a feature.

  5. I've noticed on this forum there are a whole lot more of the M. You would be surprised how high the number of forumites who post of their humiliation; and still continue to come back for more time and time again. I love it. I can get a pudgy thinking about it.

  8. I listened and I was so touched . . . When you add it all up, that is. I betcha the OP has a tear in her eye. Thank you.

Alec - someone who believes the rubbish in the bible about the meek inheriting the earth So this^^ one was a freebie?
  10. It's my opinion that MSFT just may have reinvented their company. Windows 10 is worth a look.
  11. SANSAR is only a working copy name. You will NEVER see a SANSAR in production. So to answer your question, never.
  12. Darrius Gothly wrote: So ... does this mean they have a fleet of eyeballs trained to watch for "we can't figure out who this is" notifications? I wonder how much that job pays? It ain't eyeballs watching, it's the 1's and 0's of algorithms. And math quants are remunerated very handsomely; and more so when they produce (a.k.a. identify you). Most of these doctors of mathematics work on Wall Street (where the 1%'ers earn their living). Google FB employ the others. It is best not to play the game. No facebook, no google+, and no linkedin, and I am still alive.
  13. Drake1 Nightfire wrote: Here's the problem. With so many bugs and glitches in SL what makes us believe that Sansar will actually work? .... there needs to be big changes to make us have faith. There are bugs and glitches in ALL software. I bet you still shop at Target - even after they got hacked, or ride the buses and subways (trains, Amtrak) with known glitches in applications, or drive a car that has bugs and glitches and needs a recall (but you are a true Ford guy and would never purchase any other car make, I bet). And so on and so forth. You are such a blowhard. You offer nothing in your posts but hot air. Convince me otherwise, Drake1. PS I have never shopped at Target. ETA And Ebbe probably drives a Saab.

  16. LL = landlords of games and experiences.
  17. Prokofy Neva wrote: bc their landlord is LL and not another resident LL will likely find itself in the rentals business again even if they are ideologically opposed to Mainland, they will make Linden Homes or something that will turn into the Mainland in time in spite of their aversion to it. They will have to run it "hot" i.e. always on because it will have so many people on it. Your ignorance, once again, is on display. You have no concept of the term 'land' when it comes to the new environment - nor does anyone else who is not in the employ of LL. I think what LL is saying is that you build it, they will instantiate (for a fee, of course) -- and the people will come. It's all about the experience, not the land. And we will pay for the experience. They don't want to be in the design and building business, they want to be in the physics and game world. Games within a game so to speak. Your imagination, their instantiation.

  19. My favorite holiday. On this day I try so hard to match my carded score with a 76. Although I have always failed to card a 76 on the 4th I will try again next year.

  22. I have not found my tolerance level. I say punish to extinction vis-a-vis whacking the head off the body and stuffing the mouth with garlic. Traditional yes, and very effective. Ahhh. My healing has already begun, thank you Qwal.

I made peace with myself because I said my goodbye, and on my terms. And btw, one of those whackings was Pserendipiy Daniels. Who also went out on his terms. He stared death in the face and laughed. PS I also read you would die right on the spot if any man winked at you. Clooney is still a fail. Edited for the laugh.
