  1. Hi, I'm on the hunt for hair stores that still do hair the "old" way and not just alpha textures, something like how Taketomi did theirs. I need some nice thick hair that covers the neck and ears a substantial amount that has meshed hair strands to match the look of the hair/fur on other parts of my avatar. Attached images are what I have on him now and i do already like it, but I would like other options. If you look at how his mane is, you see what I mean when I want to match the look of all the other fluff. Examples: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/taketomi-Marina-Platinums-wear/14945962 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/taketomi-SeulGi-Reds-wear/14366271 I have tried: - Taketomi - Olive - Older Ayashi and Limerence hairs - Older Truth hairs - Older Wasabi Pills hairs - Monso - Raven Bell - Yomi Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  2. This was very frustrating to me last night trying to find specialized furry body parts & shoes compatible with some of the foot options. If something is not perfectly tagged it will not show up. Not everyone understands the importance of keywording their products correctly unfortunately. The 10k item limit though is odd.
  3. I appreciate the response! So it’s a nogo regardless then. Thanks for the clarification!
  4. Hello! I have combed through the TOS for an answer to this and it's not very clear, so I am asking here. Is it permissible to allow someone onto your account for a brief period of time (say, 30 minutes to an hour to attend a meeting you'll miss or compete on behalf of them with permission from judges), or that under the banner of account transference? In this case, would the two individuals being in the same household affect this at all? Or is it a "do at your own risk" grey area? Thanks!
  5. Animal (land mammals, in this case) skeletons have considerably more range of motion than a human's. I've highlighted the joints that rotate on the hind end of the dog skeleton that you've linked, and on a horse's skeleton. A large part of the animal world walks on their toes, not on the flat of their feet. http://i.imgur.com/j5wM3jH.png Dog http://i.imgur.com/BdhCsDE.png Horse An animation of a cow skeleton walking I've been quietly observing this thread for a few weeks now and I thought I'd give input on why bone translations and extra bones in legs and spines, etc are currently necessary for capturing realistic movement in animal avatars. Animals have much more flexible skeletons (a cheetah's spine is INCREDIBLY flexible!) and the positions of their joints are very different. For example, a knee on a horse's hind end is the joint above the tibia. Canids, equids, and felines though all move differently from each other, even though they all walk on their toes (a horse's hoof is counted as a toe, since it's a remnant from when horses HAD toes--about 30 million years ago.) So yes, the toes are a joint. Our toes are jointed, animals just have better control over them ;p Not sure how good my explanation skills are but that's pretty much the gist of it. Edit - revised my diagrams
