  1. I answered here but the shirt is no longer available.
  2. I had found these 'crop' t-shirts with cartoons, as well as other geeky references, along with sweaters with the same kind of references too, all for 1l$ on the MP in a store called 'Nerdy Girl & Plan C' last year. I checked yesterday, but the store has removed everything to sell new things, no longer at the same price, and less fun in my humble opinion. I think these are the t-shirts I wear the most often in casual or lazy mode because I find them fun and perfect with jeans or baggy pants. 🙂
  3. An old t-shirt, an equally old pair of jeans, and some sneakers are enough for horseback riding in Calas ! Afterwards, you need a good tea, a nice snack, and some cartoons... because there's no age limit for that!
  4. I resisted, attached to my Sasha too. I also found Billie 'young,' etc. Then, I made the mistake of comparing different skins in demo or in my possession, and there, I don't know what happened... My finger mysteriously slipped to buy the new head.
  5. The Snow Rabbit head is very cute. I had seen some videos about it, but it's definitely too young/childish for me. Genus morph intrigues me. It will still take a big crush for me to spend L$, and that's rare.
  6. Lots of gifts for men at the Alpha event. Perfect for my alt, he's going to be able to look handsome. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous gifts, including various clothing items like suits, lots of jackets, etc., but also a laundry (5 prims) to decorate home, etc. I don't have pics, but taxi here.
  7. Well, I can't seem to stop playing dress-up instead of continuing what I'm supposed to build and set up, as well as my Blender courses Anyway. Geeky makeover mode with still plenty of freebies/dollarbies, obviously. I've done quite a few tests, and I find that Slink/Hourglass clothes are easier to adjust with alphas on the avatar, with a lot fewer flaws in the final result, and of course, Maitreya for shoes works. Even very short sweater dresses can be worn because I found some old clothes of this type, a bit sexy, so with boots and i add jeggings (to avoid getting cold...). I've used Bimbette BOM alpha layer kit Skin + shape BOATAOM - Lisa Genus BOM - Freebie (but you need to purchase the body skin, so I recommend to wear shape, and choosing another free skin like pink fuel, Lara Hurley, LAQ etc.) Hair [YOMI] - Trash pands - Freebie (few cute hairs and accessories for free) Eyebrow ONEDAYs - PRIDE EYEBROW GIFT 2021 - Freebie Dress CORVUS - Videogames Sweaterdress - 1l$ on MP (Sweater and others items for free too) Jeans Sweet's - Mesh Skinny Jeans - Denims (w. texture HUD)- 1l$ Earrings SPOILED - Geek Girl Pixel Heart Earrings (Jeans and others items for free) Glasses ROWNE - Jane cat eye sunglasses - 0l$ (lots of gifts !) Nails ALASKAMETRO<3 - beauty Slink manicure/pedicure - "Rose" - Freebie tester Shoes Old boots
  8. I'm not entirely sure where to post this, and I suppose this thread isn't as important, being more related to my musings/reflections, so I'll still drop it here. So here it goes, I found myself facing a dilemma while visiting certain exhibitions, particularly due to the use of photorealistic images generated via Midjourney (the style and details never deceive). While I don't mind this when they only accompany an idea, a theme, or a storyline not for sale just for illustration. The issue arises when these images are sold for 500 L$, at the same price as few pics created by the person in Second Life. I can't consider the individuals who created the exhibition as intellectually honest. You might say that the expense is only up to the buyers, but I have an ethical problem regarding creation, and I find it challenging to grasp that something is being sold in this manner when nothing has been strictly created or modified. And I don't know what stance to take on this. I might be nitpicking and overthinking it for nothing, while probably already having the appropriate answers, but I don't know, I just felt the need to talk about it.
  9. I think Aaron has a slightly aggressive pout (is it the skin that gives this impression?), Billie has a bit of a retro vibe on the pic. She seems quite lovely to customize, though
  10. Thank you for clarifying this, as I found it quite limiting.
  11. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Senra_Body_SDK_License#5..09Technical_Support. 3.5 Inspection and Review. 12. I think the avatar is mostly entertaining for SL veterans like us, rather than beginners, because we're accustomed to customizing, and it's fun. However, as has been said many times, by obtaining a free head and body (2l$ for both, see the Challenge Free Avi topic, i posted there too) or for the same price with a market flooded with clothes, skins, etc. designed for these faces and bodies, offering a wide range of styles and shapes (diversity, etc.), as well as the option to wear shoes with heels, etc., Senra doesn't measure up. Senra is suitable for exploring SL a bit, and certainly better than what we had ten years ago, but it felt like I was back to square one, and even then, the clothes don't fit the body perfectly, and flaws are visible. If you also need to resort to buying mesh bom feet, etc., even the nails were poorly considered... In short, it's too much complicated customization for a newcomer who doesn't necessarily want to think too much, just to have a pretty avi in SL because they've seen others with one and therefore feel tempted. Furthermore, LL seems to be imposing limits on creators, and apparently, all creations must be submitted and validated with them. To the extent that some have created dev kits on their own to test things, I'm just saying, but I'm somewhat skeptical about this choice. However, I will continue to play with dolls and post my whims, but between a complete avi for 2l$ made better with an alpha hud, being able to wear everything as desired while enjoying freebies, and Senra paying for old clothes in dollarbies for less quality... I think the choice is quite clear.
  13. To avoid any jealousy, here's my male version, which I haven't finished testing yet with free skins here and there. Isn't he handsome, this young man? I only show face and coat, I picked the beige jeans and black boots from Senra. The glasses and fedora are old gifts from the Bondi store for l'homme magazine. There's a slight flaw at the back between the coat and the pants when the avi moves, so that's something to improve. The store where the coat comes from has a nice pair of jeans, but the alpha also hides the feet, so it requires a lot of adjustments, and I'm somewhat lazy. So, here's what we have. Skin : Sweet's - Basic Male Skin classic style - You have différents versions so choose according to your taste ! - 1L$ Eyes : Euphoric - Lola eyes - Free gift group gift - 0L$ Hair & hairbase : Modulus - Cole Hair - Free group gift - 0L$ (the shop have a second free hair, bandana etc.) Dura - Hairbase bom - Free Group gift - 0l$ (There's probably something better to match the hair color, I think.) Coat [sYs] CHESTER coat M (fitted & body mesh) - tweed 1L$ (Several nice, original clothes available as dollarbies for women & men) Et voilà.
  14. Okay, I couldn't resist trying out the experience. I attempted two versions; I'll share the next one later because it includes items I've had for a long time and aren't affordable for a newbie. The shape is the uncertain result of my tinkering; I didn't bother with the body, nails, etc., only the face and overall appearance. There's a possibility to add moles and freckles; there are many available on Marketplace, etc. For the rest, we have: Skin + mesh lashes + gloss SPICE (taxi here)- Group freebies with 2 bom skin (group free to join) Hair FAGA- Yaina hairstyle - 1l$ on MP (Link here) Dress JELLYROLL - Ensemble pull Anna FATPACK with many textures - 1l$ on MP (this shop have casual outfits with alpha layers + hairs for 1l$. Good to start) (Link here) Earrings ROZOREGALIA - VINCA (freebie @valentine shop and hop) Nails .Tardfish.- Valentines day nails (freebie @valentine shop and hop) Shoes BELLE EPOQUE - Mina boots (old gift that is no longer available)
