I can imagine a lot of people lie about being on longer than they have, and less than they have if they are trying to escape something, but I also don't know why you would start accusing someone of lying when they explain themselves. You're very right, it is no one's business how long someone else has been on unless they choose to share it - however it's very frustrating when you're telling the truth! I do feel comforted that there seem to be nice people here though, as opposed to the horror that I encountered.

People need to chill! I can understand if they're trying to escape something specific but he brought up me being new, I don't advertise it. :catindifferent: Obviously, it couldn't just be that they don't want to talk... Smh

I'll forget about it, its just annoying when someone calling you a liar when there is literally nothing to gain from lying about that. :catmad: So annoying!

This is part-rant, so bare with me. I played Teen SL for a short time many years ago. Yesterday, I thought I would try it out again, so made an adult account. I got a little confused with the username thing (when I played you picked a first and last name) so ended up making two accounts. I then proceeded to do a bit of research, find out how to get rid of the newb look, bought a mostly premade avatar and some outfits etc. Bam. Since then I've been exploring and googling anything I didn't know how to do (doesn't everyone do that?) and clicked join whenever those group invites came up in the screen so I'm in like 10 groups. Then some guy started talking to me and when I said I was new, started having a huge go at me saying find someone more gullible, I hate people lying etc. I did explain how I looked relatively normal and wasn't walking into walls etc (combo of googling and having learned the very basics years ago) and he got more angry! I eventually told him where to go and logged off in huff, but my question is this; Do people lie about how long they have been playing? If so why, and how on earth do people seem to know what I have attached, how many accounts I have etc? Thanks/Sorry for the rant.
