[Opinion Needed On A New Computer]

Hi there. I am just looking for some advice on a laptop I found, mine finally conked out. Ideally, I would like a desktop, but I am a student and need something portable for at least the next two years (gag, lol) so I am trying to find something at least halfway decent that will let me run SL on more than low. This is by no means the only one I am looking at, but it is on the list of possibilities. Unless somebody knows of anything offhand that is a good device? Here are some of the specs (I bolded the GPU info since that is amongst the most important needed aspects of a device running SL):

I forgot to add that I did contact the creator to see how the skydome set-up works, but no reply yet. I am curious to understand how those claims could be true. No response yet.

Thank you, both. I am not on bad terms with the neighbors(I don't think) we just kind of go about our own business. I guess I thought it was a little odd that some shadows with root prim on my parcel occasionally swaying into their parcel would be a  bother, especially since it was on a platform in the sky -not in their yard or visible unless looking for them. That is why I don't want to ask them about that dome, lol. But, it is their parcel, so it is not my business if those things bother them. Just because it wouldn't bother me, doesn't mean it shouldn't bother someone else. I have let people put their privacy wall on my land, to keep the back boundary cleaner looking, maybe I am a pushover...lol. I will just have the renter see if they can find one that will fit the parcel. Does anyone know of a creator that makes some nice, smaller skydomes?

All of that being said is there any sort of tool or something in the viewer settings that will show the boundary lines up in the sky? Right now I rezz a platform, size it on the ground and set the position at 1000m. I don't want this encroachment issue to happen again, so something up in the sky would really help. I really like to max out as much of my parcel as I can, I like my landscaping

Hopefully, this is in the right section.

I have a renter that wants to put a skydome a thousand or so meters in the air, however, the parcel is only 1160 sqm. That being said the sky dome (which is beautiful I don't blame the renter for wanting it) is advertised as such: "Dome elements are off sim, and set to fit even the smallest 512 sqm parcel. Once when rezzed in the sky the dome will take 64 m diameter visually and it will not disappear or show up on your neighbors land in any technical way. However, you must be aware that you can place your house or rezz new prims in the dome only inside of your own land borders." 

The creator also has a 100sqm dome, which also says it can fit in a 512 parcel?

Is this even possible without having issues about encroachment on the neighboring parcels? I have had items returned to me for what I could only guess is having some animated tree shadows on a neighbor's parcel, because I used them as a border on a platform about roughly 1000m in the sky. The root prim was on my parcel, so they had to be looking around up there. If they don't like a shadow in their air-space, I don't think they would want a skydome up there, lol. I don't know how it would be any different with an offsim sky-dome versus a shadow leaf?  Any ideas, please and thank you.

I have to hop in here and ask a question. I already own a parcel, it is not deeded to a group.  Is the group bonus available if the land is already owned? Thanks in advance.

[Keeping Objects From Getting Away When Decorating]

I am sure I am not the only person this has happened to. I was placing a curtain on a window last night and per usual when using the red arrow(it is always the red arrow, never the others) the item got away and this time I could not find the object to save my life. I looked for an hour using my viewers area object search(two different viewers). Finally I had to message the owner of the land to return it, which I do not want to have to do, because I am sure it will happen again. She is busy enough. Is there any way or any gadget that helps me maintain better control of the placing of my objects? Like I said it only happens with the red arrow, never the others. I have M.S. so my hands are not the steadiest, lol. 

[Omega WONT WORK!!]

This has been happening to me a lot lately. I am using the Omega relay HUD for Maitreya and this is how I fix it: ->Right click on the HUD->Edit->Content->right click the script in there and hit reset. This works for me everytime. Not sure why or how it is happening, but it has been doing this to me for the last two weeks now. 

[Glam Affair Skin Environment Settings]

Hello

I am going to attach a photo of the problem I am having. I just bought a new skin for my new Maitreya body and am wondering if anyone has any ideas on what kind of settings i can use to smooth the outline of my girl out. If you look you can see the legs are jagged and my shoes are not crisp looking. My old settings from my other skin is not working well here. I dont know if  i need to go into the enviroment editor or the graphics or both, but any help with what I should do would be greatly appreciated. I really invested a nice amount of money to get my AVI, but this looks so bad. I use Singularity viewer, I have never been able to get Pheonix to work....no matter what I do. Actually, I take that back about Pheonix. I did get it to work, when i started playing with the settings in Singularity, my body dissappeared, the only thing showing was the head. Couldnt fix it, so downloaded a new version of Pheonix, therefore I am using that now, but would still like advice on the environment settings. I prefer Singularity so if someone knows how I can get my body back and what settings to use for Singularity, but if I can never get that fixed, I guess I need to use Pheonix. TIA again.

[Best Skins and Shapes...?]

I got a beautiful skin from Akeruka Italian Creations. It is nice because they have the matching Slink feet and hand colors for some of their skins (including mine) so it is easy to do matching. They have demos. 

[Mesh Clothing (or any I suppose)]

Any suggestions on where I can find reasonably priced mesh clothing, or reasonably priced good quality clothing, that is sexy, but not trashy (not that there is anything wrong with trashy, I wear some myself, but not appropriate everywhere). I have tons of freebie clothing, but they are very unattractive. Also some trendy casuals?  I like mesh a lot, but all I find is pretty spendy and quite a few places do not allow a demo.
