  1. Yes, unfortunately I noticed that too on their latest releases. I used to buy a lot on that store just because of Erika.
  2. I have my inventory catalogued on my computer. I started doing that since my first months here, when a saw this method as a suggestion on a blog. There's nothing too special. I simply created on my computer the same folders and sub-folders I have in my Inventory. And then I started to take pictures of every single item and name them with exactly same name they have in SL. I usually save the pictures in low resolution to save space and also I do regular backup on a separate drive. I have to say that this is a life saver for me. I can easily look for items to create looks and decorate simply running the pictures on my PC. Also, when I want to clean stuff, I start deleting the pictures on my PC, save them on a trash folder and when I log in Sl, I delete them directly without having to wear ou rezz them. I understand that it is a lot of work to start now depending on the size of the inventory. When I started, it took me two whole days to finish - and my inventory was small, but you can start with the items you use the most and slowly do the rest.
  3. My guess is that old themes will be updated, which I would love. I'm in hope for open plans for Traditionals. The option to repaint walls and change the wood of baseboard and trim would be great too.
  4. It was announced on October 11, 2021, if we have the event happen this year, I guess we will find out soon. I really hope so, because I had so much fun last year. I didn't collect a lot of candies, but I enjoyed decorating my houses and admiring the decorations made by the neighbors.
  5. I did a comparison between Maitreya, Legacy and Gen-X Classic, all wearing my Maitreya shape. In the end, I think that the Gen-X is more close to Legacy than Maitreya body. I'm wearing Skinnery body skin for Maitreya.
  6. Exactly. When I tried to create a muscled shape, Freya was the best option, for all the things you said. Isis is good too if we want a more thin, but still muscled body. And for fat bodies, Freya and Reborn are the best options, in my opinion, because we can achieve a fat torso with strong legs, which is almost impossible to get with Legacy or Maitreya legs, for example. I have read on Belleza discord channel that none of the existing Belleza clothing will be compatible with GenX, not even the shoes.
  7. I use Maitreya and love it, but in my opinion Belleza bodies have the most beautiful legs on the grid. So I'm very curious about the Gen-X look and definitely going to try the demo.
  8. Not yet, but I'll probably decorate my SL home next month. Here in my country we do not celebrate Halloween, so I was never much into it. However, last year, because of the Bellisseria Trick or Treat hunt, it was the first time I decorated my linden home for Halloween and I loved the experience. I didn't take the hunt itself too seriously, but it was fun seeing other houses decorations and having people visiting my home. Hope we have something similar this year.
  9. I guess it has something with the language chosen. I was using the Portuguese version then I did a test and reinstalled it in English. On first picture, in Portuguese, the 'More info' option is missing, but it is working in English, as shown on second picture. I installed again the Portuguese version and the option is still missing. I think I'm going to open a ticket.
  10. Recently I updated the Second Life viewer and I noticed that the option to check the objects weight is gone. There's no longer that 'More info' link in the Build Tools window. I'm using the Second Life Release 6.6.4.574885 (64bit) . I googled to find something about it and only found this post below which still mentions the option: I am missing this option a lot, since I use it all the time while shopping furniture, building, linking and resizing objects. Maybe this option is now in another place, but I looked everywhere and didn't find it. Has anyone else noticed this change? Is there another way to check the weights of selected objects? I know I can use other viewers and actually I use Firestorm and Black Dragon too, but I was wondering if there's an alternative option or tool to check objects weights while using SL viewer.
  11. You have to find the shape in your inventory, right click it, choose Properties on menu and check the options Copy/Modify/Transfer for you and check the options you want for next owner.
  12. @emodorito I believe everyone here have great points about multiple styles of avatars. It's really up to you. In my experience, when I made my first two alts, I created them because I wanted to play with different styles, but then I wanted to try more and more styles, so I realized that it's much cheaper and easier to keep everything on my main avatar.
  13. I'm not excited about the dark exterior trim, but I love the small options. I'll definately give it a chance.
  14. I'm 1.75m on LL viewer and 1.95m on Firestorm.
  15. Home models*: 1. Victorian - The Doyle 2. Victorian - The Verne 3. Log Home - Grand View 4. Camper - Colorado 5. Stilt - Tortuga In general I prefer small places and/or houses with big windows. *If there were an updated version of the Meadowbrook - Loftroom, it would be definitely on the list. Landscapes: 1. Log Home - I love all about the green feeling of the Log homes landscape: the vegetation, the pines, the sound of the birds, the small ponds. It's so peaceful. 2. Camper - similar to above. 3. Victorian - Beautiful landscape, with public squares, fountains, bridges, gardens, everything is so detailed and in theme. Oh, and the flowers? I love all of them. 4. Traditional - The words uniqueness and cozy always come to my mind when I think about the Traditional regions. It's the kind of place that really made me feel home. The other landscapes are beautiful too and have their particularities, but for some reason I have never felt home in any of them. I don't know, maybe I only have to land a location that talks to my heart.
  16. This skin was available at a past round of Arcade Gacha. Maybe they will still put it up in the store. I have seen some of this skin on Marketplace, so an alternative could be looking from gacha resellers.
  17. I got the head for my main and some alts. At first, my only complain was the HUD, but now I'm getting used to it. It took me a while to understand the dynamic of this new HUD. And I have to say that I also don't like the head with the skins that come with it, but after trying other skins, I felt in love with Queen. Hope to see more skins for it. However, I still don't know if I will use it on my main avatar. For now I alternate between Genus Classic and Lelutka Fleur on my daily use. Catwa Queen is a great head, but it will depend a lot on the skin I find for it. Meanwhile, I have been playing with some looks. The head has a good response to the sliders. The first one is a shape I'm working on for a friend. The skin is Sammy from Deetalez. The second one is the shape included with the head and a Glam Affair skin named Isobel. On the third picture, I'm using the same Glam Affair skin, but in another tone. I'm working on this one for an alt.
  18. An option would be starting the search with the skins. You can go to Flickr, look for some skin creators and check their photo gallery - in my opinion it's easier to see through social medias instead of walking through the store and also it's a good way for you to have a quick idea of the style of the store. Of course you can also go to the in world stores or MP. The idea is to find a look you like. Once you find the look, read the description of the photo to check the head used on the vendor. Go to the respective stores (skin and head) and get their demos. Wear the head, the skin and the shape provided with the skin, that way you'll probably achieve a similar result to the vendor. And then you can play a little with the sliders to give your final touch. A tip: focus on the head appearance, if you don't like the shape of the body, you can change it later.
  19. I always start with a look. Generally I idealize a whole look (physical appearance and clothes style) and then look for a skin and head that best suit what I have in mind . After selecting some heads and skins, I spend days creating shapes. Having defined the shape, I finish with the clothes, hairs and accessories.
  20. The dividing walls are simple walls with baseboard and holes for the doors created by me and textured with the Log Cabin textures. The door and arch used are from Elusive Designs. I'm using these sets below that I bought for The Verne, but they also worked great with the Doyle and the Log Cabin, because they're mod: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/E-Victorian-Verne-French-Doors-With-Windows/18717928; https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/E-Victorian-Verne-Downstairs-Wall-Divider-Add-On/18718734.
  21. Here's my Log Home. πŸ’– I decided for the Grand View because I think it works better with my land, but I have to say that I was very reluctant in using this house, because of the lack of rooms (yes, I need a bathroom, a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room at all my houses). So, I had to make a bedroom and a bathroom extensions. And I brought the decor I used on my old Victorian Doyle in Carville to the Grand View. Good thing I linked everything before abandoned it. The furniture does not have a very log feeling, but I gave it a try and I liked the result. Now I have to finish the garden. For now it has basically my horse, a few trees and the pool deck I made for my old Victorian (just had to change the textures of it to the ones of the log home creator pack).
  22. I'm going to release a Victorian at Peu Corner in a few minutes. No ocean view, but still very special and unique, with a beautiful landscape and no near neighbor. Since I got it, I still didn't have the time and inspiration to totally decorate it and now I wanna let this alt free for the log cabins. Hope some one make a better use than me.
