I know this feeling.
I was trying to get a Mediterranean and even there were lots of homes in stock, I was getting the same houses over and over.
To avoid this, before every try, I had to certificate that the last house I abandoned was already claimed by someone else.

Most of the time I only wear Maitreya body, but I prefer to buy single colors with all body sizes, simply because I rarely buy fatpacks, also I like to have more body options when I feel like changing my body.

You read my mind. Last night I went to the store to look for an update for Quinn and I didn't find it. I was about to send a note to Max. Thanks for the info.Quinn was one of my first Bento heads and I was very excited when it was released because I always loved Logo's animations so much, but unfortunately I never managed to get the eyes looking the way I really wanted and gave up after a while. On the other side, I have Willow + Pink Fuel skin on an alt and I love this combo on her. I can't wait to try the updated versions of both heads.-

Smaller fantasy houses would definitely make it harder to overcome my LH addiction, but I would love it.😅
I love the setting of the Fantasseria (it's one of my favorites) and I already had some lots in fantastic locations, but I never managed to decorate them to my liking due to their huge size and I ended up abandoning them.

Their contribution to the SL community was so important. It is so sad to see they go, but I understand that sometimes people have to close some cycles and move on.
I still use Slink stuff with some alts and looks on myself. I'm gonna miss them.

In addition to the great information already provided, you can check if the store of the skin you are wearing is still active and has the same skin tone added to their current lines. If so, you can pick up the demo and try with the mesh head. It can help you to keep a resemblance with the old system look.
Also, I noticed that you have some face moles. So, you can try some to compose your new look. At Izzie there's some you may find useful.

What a beautiful place and lovely home! And it really has a victorian feeling, but this add-on is too big for me. I prefer small places.
For now I'm using this Blush's Porch and it comes with a gable trim that adds a victorian touch.
However, now with the open plans I have to say that I'm considering change to the Alderley, that was always my first choice, but never used because of those rooms with door.

I have experiencing this problem has a while and the theory about the quick shutdown after the viewer closes makes sense to me.
I usually login Second Life at night and when I logoff, I tend to shutdown the computer right after. Coincidence or not, in most of the times I login the next day, I have this inventory issue (Firestorm or LL viewer) and have to clear the cache.
I'll try to wait a little more before shutdown to see how it goes.

I'm so happy with this news!
A couple of months ago I abandoned my lovely Victorian to try again a Traditional, mostly because I got one on a region I love.
This time I choose the Continental model, because I wanted a Victorian feeling and I think this model is great for this. However I have to say that I have never entirely satisfied with that big closed room upstairs, but now, with the open floors, I'm going to see what I can change.

No, I never dress my avatar according to my RL seasonal weather. It may coincide, but I never think about it. I always dress up in SL to fit into the scene of the place I'm visiting.

I think the best option is upgrade your avatar to PP for just one month to get your dream home, then downgrade to Premium. I claimed a Chalet that way last year.
