  1. It's flexi (moving) hair.  There is absolutely nothing you can do to prevent that type of hair from glitching inside your head/body.  It's not mesh so it not rigged to fit any head shape or head.  The only flexi hair I own is a short ponytail that is far enough away that it doesn't go inside my head.

Not sure why all the new flexi hair is so popular.  It looks worse than the old flexi hair from 2009.

In store? interesting, never seen that. As you say it's usually instantly refunded.

I can kinda see the argument for it on MP but also not... just absorb the cost like most creators do, those 1L MP charges are a cost of doing business.

Why do some people do the whole 1L and refund it thing? like couldn't the demo vendor just send the object or is there some advantage to use the whole 'sell' function?

It was at an event.  The 1L demo was something I'd run across on occasion.  There were more 1L demos at Tres Chic this round than I normally run into in 6 months around the grid.  These were also from stores I've demoed before and I KNOW they weren't charging before.

  3. I don't mind larger huds as I've gotten older.  Resizable ones would be better, though.  What I do hate is when it's a 2 piece outfit with 2 huds but they attach to the same exact spot.  Not that it's all that hard to move them.  Top, on top left and Bottom on the bottom left or whatever but sheesh.  How hard is it to do that when you make the outfit?

  4. I didn't bother checking if this was discussed before so I'm just going to ask...What are the Mole Islands?  I see one for Premium gifts but what about the others?

  5. Peeve.  Charging for a demo.  I was picking up demos at Tres Chic today and what used to be uncommon seems to now be common.  Usually, I don't mind paying 1L for a demo because in most cases, they return it immediately.  ONE vendor returned the 1L and I picked up about 5 that used this method.  Also making a note of those that did not return and will be sending them a notecard.  These are stores I've demoed in the past and they never charged.  Is this going to be the norm now?  I hope my 1L keeps you afloat because I won't be spending more in your store.  Good job!

Another question I meant to ask though was what is the max amount of items you can pack up in a box? A good chunk of my inventory I can probably just simply box up. I have a lot of gacha crap I collected from back in the day I can pack up to size things down. Thanks again for the help mate. I appreciate it.👍😎

Maximum number of inventory items that can be contained in a prim: 10,000

I started trying to make a realistic Korean avie almost as soon as I joined in 2009. It was not easy back then. Most head and skin designers did not seem to know what Asian facial/bone structure is actually like. It was frustrating to see creators slap a Caucasian skin onto a head, crank up the out corner of the eyes and advertise it as Asian. That's a caricature, and an offensive one really.

So, I began a lonely journey down this years-long rabbit hole, tweaking, tweaking tweaking. Fortunately, in recent years, designers have begun to understand Asian cheekbones, nose bridges, eye sockets, eyelids, eyebrows, etc.  Here's where I'm at today. This photo is a pure screenshot - no photochopping.

Lastly, if there's one thing I've learned in all of this, when you've tweaked your shape into a dark corner of the ugly room, set it all to 50s and start over -- don't try to tweak your way out of it!

EvoX Ceylon + Moccino Gia + Velour Porcelain + 100% custom shape.

The advent of mesh heads has been great.  Back in the day, we all had the same head and you had to work really hard to shape it into what you wanted.  It was also hard to find any African American skin that wasn't just an darker version of the Caucasian skin the store sold.  It wonderful to have such a variety of choices now.

The quality of clothing is not the same.

Rebranding would be a mistake, because she would lose her customer base and have to start all over. I've seen this happen multiple times with other stores.

I don't think there are many SL clothing stores that come close to the combination of quality mesh clothing, affordable prices, a large stock for many mesh body sizes, and responsive CSRs that Blueberry has.

She's already losing her customer base on SL but keeping it on Roblox.  Perhaps it's more lucrative there right now and any time needed to rebuild here is fine.

We don't always need roads we can drive on in SL. Each Bellisseria theme offers different features. If one wants to drive a vehicle, the Traditional, Victorian, Log Home, Chalet, Newbrook, Sakura, Ranch and Mediterranean regions have good roads. If one really wants a Stilt Home with roads, there are even a few on Land that connect to the Chalet regions.

I bet most of us don't drive much in SL. If we usually walk, fly, sail or teleport, we might be happy with a Linden Home region that doesn't have drivable roads.

Do horses and bicycles work on the piers/ boardwalks?

I rode my bicycle along the pier today with no problem.  It was my wearable PeeWee Herman bike, though.

  10. Kind of makes sense that she would break away from SL if she's also selling in Roblox.   People know SL is an adult world.  I'd probably do the same to avoid any backlash from Roblox players parents.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if she's already rebranded in SL and we just aren't aware which store it is.  Honestly, there's a few stores recently that I thought were BBish enough to be her.

    BumbleBee   BlueBerry?  Coincidence?

This is why I have people on ignore, all they do is spew insults, thinking they are are so much better than you

While it might seem insulting, it's true that some places have rules concerning avatar appearance.  Mesh head and body required, no face lights, full bright hair, bling or animal parts although they do often allow the elf ears.  They make no mention of height at all.

I nearly got kicked out of a nude beach once because I called another avatar mom. Adults can't have parents?

The woman that wanted to kick me was like 8 ft tall, so I could understand her confusion thinking I was underage

You sure it wasn't the full bright hair and bunny attachments circa 2010?  Some.places have stricter rules on appearance which don't include height at all.
