  1. That is most peculiar. I had never seen this before, so Quartz showed me two Verne Victorians that were black, as you reported. I checked the system to see what color the owner thought the house was supposed to be, and it definitely was not black.  As far as the system is concerned, one house was pink and the other was green. 

    So, I have absolutely no idea how a house ever becomes black, or whether this is unique to the Verne model, but I will find out ... somehow. Meanwhile, the good news is that if this ever happens to you, it's very easy to change the house color with the control panel menu in the house.  It doesn't have to stay black.

    Your house may have been possessed by a demon. Please be assured that although demons can be annoying, they very rarely attack SL residents. As you discovered, you can always banish the demon by replacing the house with an identical one. If you have applied any custom colors to interior walls, remember to keep a record of their RGB values so you can use them again.

It's hard not to be emotional in the face of global events this week, especially on top of the other stressful things going on around us.  Calling our reactions testy or grumpy is putting a mild face on it. This thread is showing that everyone cares, and we all feel powerless to do much more than shake our fists.  Please remember, though, that shaking our fists at each other doesn't help much.  Keep the conversation and this thread alive.     Moles do not have access to that sort of information. At this point, the thread is drifting into questions that are best handled directly with Governance through the Abuse Report system or by submitting a Support Case or by calling the Billing Office if you have a question that is related to financial issues. Please be patient.  All reports are treated seriously but as you can imagine there are many in the queue at any time.
