    How would you make premium accounts more appealing?

    How would the basics see a shiny badge if they are restricted from a premium area using the allow premium members only option. (I'd be keen for a option to click on land tab though for premium accounts only entry. Bye trolls lol).

    I can't comment on the land options or family tabs profile thingies as I have neither. The group thing doesnt really appeal to me either but I can see that  RPers,  store owners and land owners would probably like this.

    I wouldnt mind a lump sum bonus stipend separate from the L$300 if you renew your membership annually or held it for a year and continue to renew for the monthly and quarterly people. Every year it could increase x amount.

    I'd like to see a super duper premium aaccount that offers a extra 512sqm of free land and the ability to hold 2 Linden homes lol superdupers could have a house/boat and a trailer.  

    Still hanging in there for Name changes as well.

    Of course it's the same picture on the claim screen. Theres no reason to have a photo of each house as they can be swapped out using the house controller.

    I'm in NZ we get the ***** end of most things in second life because of our time zone. Major events happen during our morning routines and work and at our night the rest of the world is either sleeping or just starting their day.

    We deal with the hand were dealt because that's what WE do! Plus as long as we got beer, wine (rum for me), food, a good convo and some tunes were a happy bunch lol.

    You have a last name so you wouldnt have to pay unless you wanted to change your name. 

    This name change thing appeals mostly Resident last name holders and Sandy8163838282 type usernames. 

    I want this! it's no secret this out of all the changes this one I want the most and yes I'll happily pay for it. I want a capital A at the start of my darn name that is all .. the last name is a bonus.

    I think the group chat announcement was a bad judgement call and as I've read this morning yet more people arent happy about it. 

    If your not going to update the forum thread on times of release then fairs fair, dont release times in group chats as well. 

    I have a home and my eyes were jammed shut at the time these went live but I kinda feel for the ones who arent in world and rely on forum updates. There wouldnt even need to be a huge post something like "next release in xx mins" as a update like there was in group chat.

    I remember hearing about the name change could be a premium perk plus/or a fee but they were still working on it and hadnt decided. They still havent decided lol.

    The fee I can get on board with but having premium as a requirement I cannot. What happens when the premium isnt renewed, would you get to keep the last name, or would you lose it?

    Have you ever played dodge the restarting region while with your friends, on a speed boat, racing around the Blake sea? I have. The region on the map turns red during a restart. It was just another option for those waiting not a must do. I saw someone else mention they saw St Louisa restart right before they went live.

    On another note did you premium issue get sorted?

    30 day restrictions and newbies.

    Are you sure about having to wait 30 days to visit places? I see new accounts at adult places all the time. New as in 0 days old. 

    Some places have stipulations like having payment on file and setting age restrictions on their clubs.

    To prepay you pay before the fact. I prepaid my acc, my premium wasnt up for renewal until August. I chose to prepay another year and they charged me $72 there and then.

    Likewise my alt. New to premium, paid one year then paid a second year at $72. 

    Both occassions I was charged and billed at the same time.

    Were you billed $72 when you initially switched to annual? Did you check your premium account page at any time during the last 3 weeks? If so was the option to prepay waiting for you? 

    The reason your alt was fine was because his renewal was up while the prices were still at $72. 

    If you read the post on changes to premium, it does say you had to the end of the day 24th before the offer expired. Techniqally you should have been fine to upgrade at $72. That all depends on what the end of the day meant to LL though. I'd class it as midnight.

     If you have any trouble accessing the website, please note that it may be due to an increase in traffic and that the option will be available until the end of the day on June 24th.

    Any time they choose. Keep a eye on the map, forums and everywhere else for clues. I know it doesnt help but we all have the same 'no time' information as you.

    New homes, new price

    The price changed has been active as if today for me 24th. It now says $99. If you prepaid you would have paid that $72 at the time of upgrading. That is how it worked for me. I paid a year then prepaid another year.

    Such a shame this has happened. I'm guessing you are not the only one who is going to get that surprise. Did you check your account page after you renewed? You would have seen on your account page when you were paid up till.
