@Grumpity Linden To match the needs of the community, is it possible for premium members to sell their unused group slots to basic account holders? Like land sales but group slots. I have 18 groups slots filled, I only need 20 in total. I've no need for anymore because I cant stand spam so I purge all the time. My empty slots sit there unused when someone else could utilize them better than I. Just a thought 😊

If you can afford $50 usd or twice that a month then premium shouldnt be a problem for you if your not already. Grumpity has explained the reasons for lowering groups for basic accounts. See her post for clarification.

Its like a placeholder 'event' meaning you hold your current rate for a further year plus what you have now. Between the 3rd and 24th you can select the option to do so. On the 3rd of June that is when you can take up the offer it will be on your account page on that day until the 24th.

I've been over and over this in my head. To make my alt premium or to not. I've chosen to make my alt premium. My plan is to use the LindenX, sell off my lindens to pay my premium accounts. This is all dependent on the market: and fully subject to change lol ...... L$52,000 for x 2 avatars - L$31,200 balance of x 2 stipends = L$20,800 total to make up over the year for both avatars. I can buy in smaller lots and when the dollar says it a good time. at the current rate to purchase the extra L$20,000 in full will cost me NZD$127. Feels like a, pay for 1 get 2 'kinda' deal (I know it's not really). After the initial startup costs for my alt that is. NZD$28pa extra is what it will cost me to have my second account premium. This all depends on how well I can save those tempting linden$ of course. I already know how much I spend in SL on impulse buys, upgrades, tipping, uploads and land. Cutting back on those things is where my sacrifice will be. I could increase tier, at NZD$128 annually for an another 1024sqm and rebuy mainland it is only a dollar extra than having two premium accounts but I don't want to. The group bonus isn't even enough for me to choose the tier increase. I'm over the mainland for living, I'll never do it again.

Yep ill take some time to think things over as well .. my post was definitely a knee jerk reaction but ill wait till more is out and ive had a rum or 10. The fee is the only matter I actually care about in the whole roll out. Can we have a discount for 2nd premium accs? Lol

My only gripe about the fee increase is really that, I wanted to make my alt premium. Im trying hard to justify spending $NZD 300+ a year for 2 premium memberships. Ill still have at least 1 premium acc. The stipend would definitely help towards the up keep and I could just top up the rest but I just dont know.

This is true. Its not what I meant at all. Sorry if you read it that way. My thinking comes from console gaming. Ive been paying a sub for years just to play the games I like. I guess im used to it.

I wouldnt be against a pay to play platform. It would weed out the riff raff.

New fees for annual memberships raised to $99 usd will be coming. This is the price premium members will pay for wanting nice things. I wanted to make a alt premium but maybe ill pass now. Who needs 2 Linden homes anyway lol
