Under your preferences, in SL, go to the graphics tab.. click advanced... there is a slider for Avatar COmplexity. Slide that all the way to the right to unlimited. This will allow your viewer to render all avatars regardless of their complexity. Click apply and o.k. and those avatars around you that look like colored cardboard cutouts, should now be fully rendered.

I frequent a smaller club and there is always mass lag there with avatars over 3000kb and more wiht scripts ranging from 55 to 197. However there is much argument from others that it is avtar complexity that is causing it. Avatars with many prims, etc.. I was over 1,25mil in complexity because of my halloween costume. yet my script count was only 22. An avitar complexity wouldn't that only cause viewer issues for others or myself? It's the scripts and KB's that cause the lag in the SIm or parcel? could there be too many avatars for the parcel size?

I have the same issue happening just in the last few days between me and my mother only. We have unfriended and friended each other.. we have checked blocks and mine are clear. my b/f can talk to her. I am not on firestorm. So, there has to be something else going on. Again, this just started on this past thursday between us. IT's very frustrating Is there anything else we can try. thank you

Hello. I tried the link to Dominoes avatar download, but there is nothing there, only a bunch of coding. Any thing else you may suggest? Thank you so much for any advice on this

within the last couple of auomatice downloads by LL for their viewer, it has changed the way we see our prim feet/shoes. I switched back to SL viewer from Firestorm because FS was having this same issue. Toes are different colors than the feet. The feet glow white, but in the "shady" part of the view, they are almost correct color. Color of shoes are not equal... straps should all be same color and are not. I've already talked to creator and it's not the shoes. Some one said that I should try and change LOD. How do I do that?.. I thought I found something under debugging for that, and I changed it to what was recommended, but there is still no change. Why would LL change that part of the viewer when there was nothing wrong with it. It makes it virtually impossible to correct color of feet/shoes and any OTHER prim body parts.. who want white nipples? How can this be fixed.? Thank you for your help

Just in the last week or so, everytime I try to open a notecard, I crash. I've restarted my computer, cleared cache, cookies, yada, yada.. was good for a day and then have been crashing, again, each time I try to view a note card. Why just in the last week or so? I'm using the most recent SL viewer. I've tried singularity.. crashed when I tried to execute the program. Firestorm... hate the new version.. cannot adjust basic shaders and the shadowing on prims isn't right. Tried to go back to an earlier version (the first one the can view mesh)... did a clean re-install. Crashed each time I tried to execute, as well. So, not I'm stuck with SL viewer, which I'm getting used to again, but the notecard crashing is killing me joy. Again, everything fine until all of the sudden about 1 1/2 weeks ago... I'm on Vista and have everything current. I know with all the improvements to quality of the program that it's a bit rough for my old system... but you see my point.... why now? Thank you for any suggestions... I already get the part about upgrades and such, but that's not possible at this point in time.

My avatar cannot walk above the ground. I'm in the ground walking with only the top of my head out and sometimes my foot is above my head.
