Hi Guys: I was looking through our group's land holdings and came across something for which I have no explanation. I was wondering if you guys could help me solve this mystery. I found a 1536 sq meter piece of land attached to our group's land assets. The reason this seemed strange to me was that I have no recollection of buying this parcel. I checked my transaction history and I have no record of buying this parcel either. I then checked the list of parcels of land I deeded to the group and it was on the list. Then I checked the list of members and their donations. I thought maybe one of the group might have bought and deeded it to the group. Nope that wasn't the case either. It doesn't show them donating it either. I can account for every piece of land I have and every piece which our group owns except this one. Is there a way for someone to add land to a group's holdings without it showing up as a donation? Does anyone have any ideas? Nonplussed, Xen

Hi Guys: According to the knowledge base, in order for someone to retrieve their land which they contributed to a group they should go through a few steps and eventually sell the land back to themselves for a one linden. But, If a group holds land, and all the group's land was deeded to the group by the founder of that group, and then all the people except the founder either leave or are removed from the group, what happens to the land which the founder deeded to that group? This question is based on the assumption that after the last person leaves the group it will go away in 48 hours. thanks guys, Xen

Hi guys: I am a member of two groups and have donated land to both. I am the only member of either group who is a premium member. If something happens to me, or if I leave the groups, will there be any repercussions on those group? Can group still own land on the mainland even though none of the members of that group are premium members?

Hi guys: I would like to create a group so we can hold some land in common. Can more than one person be the owner of a group? Can there be joint owners? Or is there only ever one group owner?

Hi guys: I have bought some land on the mainland and I was trying to educate myself on the nature of the tier system. I noticed that if you own 512 square meters of land it is $5.00 US. This is about the amount I would pay for the premium account if I owned only the linden house. It also said that when I became a premium member I got the linden house for free. I became a bit confused. Is the price for the premium account subsumed in the price of the tier, or do we still pay for the premium account separately? I am at then$75.00 US tier level. Will I still be charged the price of the premium account? Thanks, Xen

Hey All: I am trying to learn about how land auctions work in SL. I think I have small idea on how it works. I made a bid, got an email telling me I wasn't winning, increased the bid, and am feeling comfortable about the whole thing. I do however, have a question about the procedure mentioned in the land auction FAQ. The section I am having problems with states: "To increase your bid, go to My Bidding Activity. Choose the bid you want to increase. If you click the Bid Lot No. on the Bidding Activity page and then click Increase Bid on the following page, you will be taken to a new page where you can enter your new bid. If you click the Item Description on the Bidding Activity page, you are taken to the Listing Info page where you can click Bid Now to increase your bid." The 'Bid Lot No' and the 'Description', take you to the same page: there doesn't seem to be a distinction. I thought that if you needed to raise your bid in a hurry, the first option would be nice. It doesn't work for me the way it is described in the FAQ: does anyone know if the FAQ is out of date? It is also very possible that I am not reading it right. Thank you.

Hi Guys: Everytime I log off, my SL veiwer brings up a window which says that it is a crash report and it is looking for a new server: usually sever number 1. I uninstalled the veiwer, cleared the cash, removed anything I could think of the related to it, and then downloaded the newest version. I installed the newest vesion and it did the same thing when I logged off the first time. I then installed a 3pv and used it and logged off, and it did have the problem. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Thank, Xendoras

So, the RLV relay is not just a relay; it is an RLV enabled device which parses object given commands into viewer understandable commands without going through any other RLV device (like your collar or belt). Thank you: knowing the process is so important. Yes my open collar has an rlv relay built in, but some of the older ones don't so one needs an external RLV relay. Thanks again.

I have been reading about RLV's and RLV Relays, and think I have a handle on the functions. Some of the people who post here have been a great source of help and I thank you all. I have one question, and it may not seem important but it is really frustrating not to have the answer. I am so liking using my open collar and Nico and Susan's RLV relays. I love playing with them. Here is the question: when the object which wants to animate my avatar sends its request, does it send it to my relay which then parses the request and sends it to my collar which then sends it to the viewer which then manipulates my avatar? Or does the object send the request to the viewer which then sends it to the relay which then sends it to the collar? Or, does the relay handle the sending of the command to the viewer itself after it changes the request to the " ||owner command" making it understandable to the viewer? Or does it operate in another way. Sorry if this pedantic but it is driving me nuts. Xendoras

Hi Guys: I've been a premium member for a few weeks now and when I chose this house I didn' think there would be stalagmites. They are becoming a real problem for decorating. I am starting to dislike them. My question is: can I change house types? Can I move or do I have to wait for a year for the premium membership to be up and let it lapse and then reapply and choose a different kind of house? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Hi guys: I have tried to get my premium gift and I just can't get to the kiosks. In my browser I get as far as having six possible locations come up. the teleport buttons don't work. I tried the search destination inside the viewer and it can't find a kiosk. I even copied down the location numbers and put them in the destination guide. I managed to get to a map once but the visit location button wouldn't work. I am probably doing something wrong, Would you able to help? I followed the instrutions on the faq page about premium membership. I fear I am missing a step. If you could help that would be really nice. Thank you.

Hi I got a new email address and wanted to ask SL to use it. I went to dashboard and changed my contact information. When I clicked to save changes it told my password was incorrect, it is the same pasword i used to get into the account to make the changes in the first place, so i am a bit confused. Any ideas?
