  1. Overly sexualize, while not bad, is the norm. A lot of people tend to like being curvy, the problem is when they meet someone with less curves. But yeah, a lot of furniture does accommodate this, it's the norm. Hyper sexy is more focused on and sells more. People just like being really sexy.
  2. Second life is the very definition of a metaverse. It's in the definition itself. Second Life is a connected world, via Sims a.k.a. simulations that are connected and joined, in a 3D space, that you socialize in. Not only does Second Life do this, they are both social and economically driven. Tons of Stores, tones of sims to meet and greet. Open sim is not economically connected. The metaverse is a loosely defined term referring to virtual worlds in which users represented by avatars interact, usually in 3D and usually focused on social and economic connection. Avatars socialising in the virtual world Second Life.
  3. My avatar looks like this, today. A demoness dressed for Corpo business. Made her ethereal and ghost like. She is in the business of Technology, average global height because I like it. As you can see she is an hourglass shaped woman but not very busty, sorry she is average breast size. with elven ears and dawning a pair of cute little horns. She is also, a Hafu, 25 years young and her favorite food is a good ole fashion bowl of Ramen Noodles, Szechuan chicken.
  4. You're right, I'm a humanoid but not a human. I'm usually an elf or a demon. I see more humans than furry, elves, anime characters, monster characters, basically fantasy characters are a minority in second life. People who play second life usually mostly want to be sexy, from what I've seen. People can deny it but they want to make something they find extremely sexy to them and they want to be that sexy to someone else.
  5. No, I have never had a crushed on an Avatar, but I have really liked how an avatar looked, for example. Crybunbun Creator has a really cute avatar, so does Mewsery, so does the creator of Appetite and the creator of Lunar and the creator of Rosier. I love how they look, how creative they were with it, their fashion are lovely to me and I really like they're not afraid to be different. Their personality give it much more, Crybunbun is a very nice person, she is cool peoples, same with the rest of them. Rosier creator is extremely nice, she's cute and over-all an amazing person.
  6. No I would not, sounds not only expensive but what if something happens and you get banned for some reason? Then you're just there stuck with a Neuro-Link, wanting to play Second Life, banned and out a grand or more.
  7. Second life is pretty cool, aside from some jerks here and there it is a great meta-verse to live a "second life on." You're going to run into those people who think it's real life or those who want to run you and your avatar and how they think it should look. You might run into people who hate you for not being as tall as everyone else or as curvy BUT You're going to meet friendly people, on both sides, that take you as you for you. I don't believe in just hating people with what they chose and go around name calling the platform and thinking everyone around is bad or into certain things just because a small group of people. I like how people can be creative, If there are toxic people coming to ruin your fun, just ignore them and block them. Example, people give Anime a bunch of crap all the time, I'm not an anime but I love Anime and I have seen really good avatars in the anime community, however; There are a lot of trolls who are anime, over all they are unique. Same with Furry avatars, they are cool and very unique, people still give them slack but they are creative and don't let people ruin their fun. One of the coolest Lindens was, i haven't seen him in a while, a furry. You have the freedom to create what you want, the only drawback are actually the people. It's weird that people attack some of the linden in the Linden Lab and blame how the community is on them, example: why are people tall? Wasn't a linden who did that was the community. It all started with "lets see who can be the tallest." save for those who opt out and want to go real life heights. Or Body types, the main body type is usually Hourglass or Pear, hyper sexualization is a community thing. Now not saying that LL don't mess up from time to time. Nothing wrong with hyper-sexual in itself or being a giant, just wrong when the giant calls you something you're not because you're short to them and their camera angel is more up than yours. But I get that, it's like real life, Have you seen the tit-tok of women putting the camera up to their boyfriend height and seeing how they look in their perspective? It's hilarious, they do look like kids at that height, so no wonders people who don't know how it feels to be tall seeing someone else that isn't tall, thinking the same thing. but You do have Women who do want to be the average woman and men who wish to be average. If you can find those crowds then that's nice, if you just want to be average on Second life. I found it has always been a small group, not an entire group, who care about how you look, big or small. Like most second life people don't care how others look compared to them and that's the truth, as long as you're adult. So don't be discouraged to be something you like for yourself. Over all, no other Meta - Verse is like second life, despite Second Life having a lot of negatives, it has a lot of positives. It does have people who wish to understand and try to work with you and won't call you out your name or frame you as something you're not, especially when you feel at peace and not hurting anyone. I've gone into plenty of sims an average height, average shaped person and didn't get slack most of the time. I usually hang out on mature or adult sims (no not like sexy time sims) but adult sims in general because I don't have a need to go to general sims, personally, unless it's a store. So, over-all, I think Second life is the best, so far. No other meta-verse allow for creative freedom more so than Second Life.
  8. Anyway, here is the shape I've been using, it's with Legacy bombshell, made it recently myself. I wanted her to look like an elven person, with albinic features, gave you an Hourglass figure, because of the breast size, personally. You don't have to go this size, you can go any other size, it doesn't matter. And I have the same long neck, that's not changed at all.
  9. I will make my neck longer if I wanted to, shows that you didn't read anything i said. I'll make more, if it'll help someone, especially new people, which this was to help get a feel of shapes and body shapes, to understand it more. I didn't say this was set in stone and said at the beginning, if you have unproportionate stuff that it's okay and ignore people who tell you otherwise and yet you are out here trying to nitpick.
  10. I like how some people are taking pot shots, despite me saying about these are just basic irl shapes but it doesn't affect second life and that if you learn them then you can make any shape you want easier. Some people are taking this to heart, some are getting offended, really crazy to see. Some people have short necks, some people have long necks, some people have big heads, some people have short heads, some people have long hips, some have really short. I said "If you have an unproportionate avatar and someone gets mad, ignore them." So not understanding some of these people.
  11. That's why I stated, these are the common body types, when you understand these, you can make any body types you want and you don't have to be proportionate, several times.
  12. I can respect that but no a lot of people like Legacy, they just hate the hud, specifically the media part. The media part of the hud isn't important, the most important part is just the Alpha part of it. It's media because it's a social media platform, but the hud isn't hard to figure out it just rely on that aspect. You can turn on bom and do what you need by chat commands or the gestures they give you, in the welcoming box, or the extra hud they give you in the welcoming box. That's people's complaint, but that one section rarely gets used, aside from if you manually want to change nails or activate bom. It's the only section that has the media function in it, it works like S.L closet, which also runs on Media. But Legacy is as versatile as Maitreya. I am not telling you to go Legacy, just explaining to you that you can create all of these body types, hybrids, and more. It's, also, furry friendly like Maitreya is. The other reason, some not all, hate Legacy is because they think it's TMP when it's a totally different brand. Legacy and Reborn are two of the most friendliest to get into, I know that the cost drives people off, but investing in any body is expensive. The more clothing you have that you want, that body would be the most expensive body because you invested the most into that body and you are trying to look good, with shapes, and through fashion you like. In my honest opinion, most bodies are versatile but they have certain limits, one might have a big butt always, the other might always have a flat butt always, even if you make it bigger, the butt is still smaller than the rest, one might have small feet and you want large feet, one might have large feet but you want small. Kupra's limitation is that your butt and breasts are large and in charge, unless you get kupra kups then you can have smaller boobs. This, also, might be the only body you can only do Pear Shape or Hourglass shape, because it is for curves. You can, I've seen it done, achieve a lot of unique shapes with Reborn, from small to big, but you have to elongate the hips at smaller sizes.
  13. Don't really use the V. I don't think i need any deformers but I do know about them. I just use Sensations V. especially because it has a butt add on.
