  1. Recently, a marketplace item listing of mine was flagged due to span or disallowed listing practices. How can I get in touch with a Linden to discuss this? I can find no option for a support ticket. This is the first time I've ever needed one, in fact! I was pretty sure that my listing met the guidelines. If it didn't, then I need clarification from someone official so that I can make sure to comply going forward. So... how do I get in touch with a Linden?
  2. So I know how to make a vendor. What I don't know is how to make a vendor that accepts as payment something -other- than $Ls. I'd like to create a vendor that accepts alternative forms of payment, like RP coins or certain kinds of transferable objects (gold). I'm an admin at an RP sim, hence the question. Are there any good resources in the LSL Scripting Library or elsewhere that can point me in the right direction? I searched, but I came up empty. Maybe I'm not searching for the right term?
  3. I would argue that the point can be anything. As others have said, creativity is key. Personally, I enjoy role playing. In real life, I am neither a knight nor a princess nor a demon nor any of the other characters I can play in SL. I can write those characters in the form of fiction (and I do), but I enjoy the element of surprise inherent in waiting for and reacting to others' posts. I also enjoy building. I used to own a clothing shop on an alt account. Finally, I enjoy seeing all of the things that other users have created. Sometimes, I even buy them. Second Life is an open ended experience. You can be, do, see, or create anything you can imagine. Ultimately, then, creativity is the point.
