You should clear your cache, inventry cache... and if that normal cleaning cache dont help there is manualy cleaning cache.
I dont know what viewer you use, but on Firestorm you need to go to your preferencis (ctrl + p), go to Network & Cache.
There you have Cache location, and you have button Open. Click on it and it will open cache folder in your PC. After this hold open that folder on your PC and log out of SL. Delet all inside of that folder. Dont delet folder, just all cache from inside. Then log in back to SL. Go to some not lag place and wait till your inventory load back. If you see down there where are numbers of items saying "Fatching" it means its still loading . So dont touch, just wait. Close all other web pages, you tube etcc... it make u load slower. When "Fetching" is gone, your inventry should be back. Detaching all HUD while you r loading also can help...
This i read on some forum when i lose my inventry, i get it back every time in this way. If i find link to that post i will send u here.
