When I click on the comunication tab and then on friends and then rt click on IM, I do not get a communication window and I am unable to communicate. Neither can I communicate with others in my vicinity. I have rechecked my preferences and reloaded SL following your directions for clearing temp and sl folders prior to download. This did not solve my problem. Maybe I have a setting incorrect. When I click on the tabs and the dropdowns I get a click but that is all. My friends in the same room are unable to communicate with me. Can you help?

When I attempt to communicate the communication dialogue box does not show. I have it checked it. It worked well previously. I double click and it makes a sound but does not appear.
