I download FireStorm, first time and every time I load firestorm, VFS freezes me and i crash...why

All old viewers keep me seeing grey avatars......and keep giving me--ERROR---your version of any viewer does not knowhow to display or Unable ToUpLoadAsset.......... all other vewers,newer ones like FireStorm, or the LL Viewers,when I'm loading freeze and crash at VFS. Been with LL+SL since 2008.....and i was using firestorm when it first came out and a few months later FireStorm wouldn't let me in due to VFS then crashes.... Those who have XP or Vista seem to no longer can get in...or my Thoshiba Lap Top Vista can't do it. I went all the way back to SNOWGLOBE and all avatars are grey too.... Can anyone help me?

same here.....all viewers,once they load to "VFS," AND IT CRASHES.the old viewers work but all avatars are grey....... my TOSHIBA VISTA is fine....plus I keep getting--ERROR---YOUR VERSION OF---WHATEVER----DOES NT5 KNOW HOW TO DISPLAY......WHATEVER...AND UNABLE TOUPLOADASSET Been with you since 2008 and you going to cut me off just because I dont have Windows 7 or 8?
