  1. So this is more of a sanity check for me but, has anyone else gotten a double click while navigating their inventory, more pacifically using right click to create a folder, or really randomly any time using right click at all in the inventory window, just about every time I go to create a folder now, it creates the folder before I can name it, the first time, the second time it'll let me create it and name it, but randomly it'll create and unselect it before I even realized I clicked create new folder, even though that's what I was about to do, though this is one of many odd inventory bugs I get, like when I search and select what I am searching for then clear the search bar so I can see every thing in that folder, boom, it scrolls to some random spot, EVERY FREAKEN TIME, defeating the purpose of the search bar I swear, is there just another way, its find for wearables, cause you can just right click show in folder but things your actively searching for . . . . I've worn entire skyboxes, just to find the folder their in, or furniture for that matter heh, So, we can probably say I've already failed the sanity check with that little rant but the above top bit, is possibly new, just wondering if any one else is getting this.

I've had this thought more and more these days, while shopping for items on marketplace, such as looking for themed homes, often the ones that catch my eye, are backdrops, they look nice but I'm looking for a full home, not something to take one or more photos then be done with it, or gachas, I find them greedy, and no copy is no fun, that one can be filtered though, and the don't show limited quantities filters is obviously aimed towards gacha items, there was a filter made for those, so why not add a exclusion filter, if the MP add includes <yay> word, please don't include them in my search results, Is that too much to ask?

I've been on SL for a long while now and have ran into many SL bugs in the past, but this one is new, so I'm wondering if any one else is coming across this, Seems to be happening only during building, things, at first I thought my keyboard was maybe showing signs of failing or maybe my mouse but the random teleports send me no where near where my mouse cursor was half the time, for what ever reason, the bug just has me teleporting to random spots, near where I start at, I stay on sim, so far no further then maybe a couple hundred meters or SL units what have you, but it usually happens during building, it closes my build window, and just sends me teleporting, I've had it teleport me straight forward from where I was looking, or 200 straight up, or where I was looking, its really random, there doesn't seem to be any rime or reason, but its usually during building, when I'm moving my camera around, hints why I thought it might be my keyboard or mouse but I would expect it to teleport me where my cursor is or, it just seems to pick a direction, and teleports me once it finds a object in its path, That said it could still be my mouse or keyboard failing, though I have no issues in any of my other games or programs so don't know, any one else having this issue?
  4. @Mercedes Avon I do use that program, I will give that a shot as well, honestly completely forgot about that program running in the background, though I've never had issues with it before, so here is hoping . . . . Thanks for the info @Maitimo My Objects folder is pretty big, but every thing else is sorted and put into sub folders, perhaps its time to remove all demos again

It doesn't seem to matter what sim I'm teleporting to, it simply disconnects as soon as the second attempt to teleport, there isn't a one sim that I can't teleport to, so long its one of the first few teleports, I can raise my texture memory higher than 512, I can go as high as 4096, I just took it from 512 to 2045, no clue if that's too much of a jump but I'll see if this helps, I've never toyed with that setting before. Thanks for the reply.

Just wondering if any one else has noticed a clime in teleport disconnections as of the last two weeks, or if I'm the only one, I've started to disconnect while attempting to teleport, almost always by the third teleport, making avatar designing really frustrating, sense I like to mod, tint and so on, the disconnects causing all the tweaks I make to revert, I'm now having to remember to log off and then back on after each tweak, just so SL saves my progress, I wanna say this started during last marketplace maintenance or can't remember which type of maintenance it was, but during the time I did also have a shape get corrupted, and had to recreate it, not sure if that's related or not, but SL has been getting less stable lately, any one else having new or more often issues?
  7. Am I the only person unable to search for avatars any more, or is every one setting their profiles to private? I've needed to contact sellers for one reason or another on marketplace and I don't remember the last time I've searched for a avatar and search actually found them, most of the time when I search I just get a random list of people with similar names, one part or just random, but I don't ever get a list with the actual seller in it, I might just be getting unlucky a lot lately, and the sellers I've been buying from just have the profiles set to private, but I feel that's kind of odd, sense it makes it harder to get support for product, I know sense I bought something from them I can usually use the items to find their profile, so I can still find them in the end but I've always used search to find sellers when I need support for their product, so am I going crazy heh, any one else having this issue, I'm logged into the browser, so I don't know what's up.

So I've been dealing with a sort of bug, issue, glitch, I don't know what to call it but I've been wondering if any one else has had this issue and has found a fix or work around, searching for it on forums and the like just leads me to other problems other uses are having but no the same issue, Anyways, the issue I'm having is every once, well its more like every other time, but when I want to quickly get to the folder of something I'm wearing, I use the Wearing tab in the Appearance window and just right click the item and select <Show Original>, half the time it does so, but the other half of the time it just scrolls down to the bottom of my inventory, and will continue to do so every time thus after, not always on that one item, it just randomly decides " Nope, bottom of the inventory " instead of showing me the right folder, it seems to open the folder, but its like it forgets to stop at the folder when it scrolls, Is this one of SL's old bugs that LL just ignores, is there a user fix or work around, having to manually scroll down to find the right folder is heh yeah such a this gen first world SL problem, and I feel silly to post about this but its happen enough over the years that, I just had to.... I'm sure clearing my cache or relogging would probably fix this issue, which I do often, perhaps not enough but I'd hate that to be the only fix, kind of hoping someone has a better fix... Anyways? No mesh eyes will fix this issue sadly, its simply a creator design flaw, one that doesn't bother many I suppose sense the head is pretty popular even so, just throws those with a sharp eye, this could be easily fixed by the creator, sadly they had to take down the head because of a lawsuit of some kind, sounds like they plan to put it back up once they get through the lawsuit but that could be a while, so a fix probably isn't coming any time soon, if ever, That said I did find something that sort of "fixes" the eyes, though I wouldn't really call it a fix sense your creating a issue or limiting yourself in order to make something else look sort of right, that is, using a eye locking hud, I use the "Eye Lock Hud" by pickle, so you can use mesh eyes, put them in place and your good, its another script on your avatar but it works and the eyes look much better, the downside is that AOs that actually animate the head and eyes no longer animate your eyes, mine still animates the mouth so its not all lost, but I wouldn't call a fix a fix that creates another problem or limits you where you were not limited before hand so, its still up to the creator of the head to do something about the eyes, but judging, with the lawsuit and how popular the head is as is, making the money it is, well, was, I highly doubt anything will be done, the best thing that could happen is that the lawsuit causes the creator to start up a new store, with a new head with better rigging for the eyes, and hair for that matter, seems 80% or hair I demo on this head, on any of the shapes I've made for the head, or bought on MP, all seem over sized or floating on the head, well, rigged hair anyways, but I prefer long hair so . . . . In any case, I hope the creator comes out of the lawsuit fine, and if they can't put the current heads back on the market, that they decide to make new heads, with less or no rigging issues, tell then I will continue to hunt for the right head that suit my needs.
  10. I'm at the catwa store now, are you talking about the Non Rigged Omega Mesh eyes, or does catwa sell some other eyes, I can't find any other eyes at the store.

So I was able to sort of fix it, though not completely, by raising the baggy eyes to push out the lower eyelids to match the upper lids, then use some mesh eyes and moved them closer to the eyelids, now there isn't such a crazy gab but now I don't get spec or normals Edit: scratch that, didn't work sadly.

So I've been using Catwa for years now and really like the head but its starting to get old and the Genus head has a really nice shape, I got it when it was in beta or alpha, which ever the first version you could buy was, anyways, I dismissed it back then because I thought the eyes were buggy, and not the random eye movement bug that they fixed not along ago, I mean the eyeballs are sunken, the eyes don't touch the eyelids, apart from the sides, its very strange, and distracting, so I thought I'd wait to use the Genus head but, the urge to try something new has been hitting again so I'm trying to use the head again, and yet, The eye depth bug is still there, the head has gotten so popular these days, I'm honestly surprised I need to make this post, is there a fix that I am not aware of, or am I the only one noticing this, I've tried fixing this in the avatar shape window, you can kind of fix the lower eye lid but the upper is so far away that there is no getting it closer, I've made sure I'm up to date, I've turned off all AOs and relogged, I have also just tried to move to just buying mesh eyes to place them in the correct spot but they just clip through the side of the eyelids I don't know, I've included a Gif image of what I am talking about, this can't be normal right? https://i.gyazo.com/4f432eaf77fc3d18a82d43c92400f366.gif

Wow it was as simple as moving the slider heh, moved it to ultra then just lowered the settings manually back to where I had them and poof I am able to enable every thing and shiny seems to be working now, you know how some times you just get it in your head its not a simple fix, you get that in your head so much you don't attempt the simplist things to try and fix it and usually that's what it is, this be one of those moments heh, thanks for the help.

Though as far as I can tell from my end my system meets more then the system requirements of second life, I am unable to get shadows to work in the normal second life viewer, though able to in Firestorm viewer in any case in preferences, under graphics, I am able to check Atmospheric shaders but Advanced lighting models, Ambient occlusion and depth of field are dimmed out or can't be clicked, though some how Advanced lighting models and Ambient occlusion are both checked Also, I am able to check bum mapping and shiny but as far as I can tell its not working, though I only own one object that has bump mapping, so if any one knows of something I can use to really test if bump mapping is working, that's free, that'd be a lot of help.
