My dad was always there for us. My dad worked and my mom was a homemaker/housewife. She cooked all the time. Boy i miss that. My parents were married for 50 years.

There are jerks in RL too. Dont let it ruin your SL. There are so many others that might find your friendship valuable

You dont have to share much if any info about yourself. My sl partner is a female over 21 and I can guess her age by the type of music she likes maybe but thats all I know. She wants to stay private so i am ok with that.
