Had my appointment at CancerCare yesterday. 2.5 hours. That included a gynecological exam, blood tests, EKG, and chest x-ray, plus a consultation about 'what happens next?' Sometime in the next week or two, I'll be getting a call with a date and time for surgery. They'll remove the cyst, along with all reproductive organs. In other words, a complete hysterectomy. And appendectomy, and a couple of lymph nodes. Everything will be sent to pathology, and from there I'll hopefully know within a month or so what next steps, if any, there are to take.

Holy farkin' crap on a farkin' cracker. Are you back on this again?? Let it bloody well go already. Anyone who reads this forum knows you consider yourself to be the genius to end all geniuses in the photography category. Constantly whining about it does you no favours, and you end up looking like a spoiled child in need of a nap. Let it the fark go. JFC.

Yeah. I said a lot of ummm....stronger...words lol. On the one hand, I'm extremely tired of people asking when I'm due (or was tired, before self-isolation). But on the other hand, it's not so bad to be 50 years old and the question they don't ask is aren't you too old to be having a baby? Nice stroke for the ego 😁

Nope. Centimetres. I look like I'm nine months pregnant. It's what really prompted all the tests.

I have no idea why, but I first read that as Sodomy Cheese.

So an update of sorts. I had the CT scan, and my doctor called the following Tuesday. It's apparently an ovarian cyst (32 cm!) and she doesn't think it's cancerous, but she was referring me to a gynecological oncologist for further test, just to be safe. That was about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I got a call from the CancerCare clinic last week, and set an appointment for this Friday morning. I also received a booklet in the mail from them, about what to expect regarding the diagnosis (!) It's generic, and has left me a little rattled at the possibilities. The closer it gets, the more rattled I get. On the bright side, my youngest daughter is finally able to visit! She was at her dad's (he and I share custody, she's 17, 18 in November) when the self-quarantine began, and she hasn't been able to come by for about a month. The province started lifting restrictions this week, and we are both soooooooo looking forward to it; it's been the highlight of my week.

I picked up the new "free" Meshbody and the Catwa gift head for my male alt. I don't think it turned out too badly. Clothes, hair and skin are freebies I've picked up along the way. He's a bit pretentious/hipster looking, but not bad considering.

I was blonde (or maybe brunette, I cannot remember lol) for about a week when I first started SL with Charlotte. I went red and never looked back, other than for photos, and that doesn't really count, hehe. I completely agree about changing looks in RL vs SL. It's kinda bizarre lol.

I managed to get into one of the Catwa sims for the free head, spent a while tweaking it, discovered she was blonde, and this is the result. I'll see how long I can live with it It's very disconcerting to not see a redhead 😄

I recently purchased the new Lelutka Evolution head Lake. I loved it in the ad, demo'd it, and now that I've lived with it for a bit, I'm dithering. I like most of it, but I'm not 100% sold on the nose shape. Try as I might, I cannot get the nose the way I like it, as I did with Simone. So, I'm dithering. Do I ignore the nose and live with it because I paid a fair amount of L$ for it? Or do I go back to the old one? Grr...I hate decisions...Top one is Lake, bottom is Simone.

I love the colour picker for the new Linden homes! And since you've got that same colour and furniture, I can say you've got great taste too
