Attraction is subjective. Maybe they just don't find your style of avatar attractive. Those avatars are definitely not my cup of tea even in the slightest.

Is this a griefer or just a plain idoit?
Annika Velde replied to fuzzypanda109's question in Abuse and Griefing
You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Plain and simple. Many of us here in answers have been on SL for years. We understand that people are annoying sometimes and the easiest way to make your own SL better, is to mute and derender the annoyance. After you do so, it's like they never existed. Personally I enjoy people being silly like that but if you don't, you have options. Good luck in your SL lol -

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have been and will be effected by Irma. I've been following it here.

How long have you been here?
Annika Velde replied to Tari Landar's topic in General Discussion Forum
I started in November 2009 after seeing my then friend playing SL. I vaguely remember seeing a CSI: New York episode, before signing up, about Second Life and thought it looked really interesting but had no inkling of how to even get started. At the time, the most experience I had with a virtual world was IMVU and the two are vastly different. I also remember after starting, there was an episode of The Office (American Version) where Dwight creates second life within second life. After watching someone playing in person, I was so intrigued that I went home and signed up that same day. I must say that I was very lucky to have someone show me the ropes right off the bat. I would have been entirely lost if it weren't for her. -
I don't either so that's ok haha

My style is ever changing. Some days I may be casual, others I could be in some sort of fantasy avatar. I tend to just throw things together and hope it looks good. Sometimes it comes out pretty well. Here's some examples:

No problem! I'm glad I could help!

Secret Crushes are.... @Skell Dagger and @Whirly Fizzle -
I'm fairly certain you are talking about IMVU which is geared towards a younger demographic than secondlife anyway. They added the "premium" membership so that adults that do indulge in IMVU can have a place of their own. Secondlife, as far as I'm aware, has never been geared towards children so there's not really a need for the "adult only premium" like IMVU has.

Kitja I believe has some clothing you can use for it. Villena also has a pair or 2 of jeans that were made for one of their body suits so I can only speculate that they would work for others as well.

Face Lights and Lag Effects
Annika Velde replied to CardinalSin Reanimator's topic in General Discussion Forum
I have made it my mission in my second life to permanently derender any and all face lights around the grid. I have (probably) derender well over 500 face lights thus far and will continue to be a facelight warrior until my last days in SL. *Strikes a dramatic pose*
