I wasn't sure if there was a better forum to put this in, so I hope it's ok here. There is a shop and sim that is shortly closing and it has been an institution within SL for almost 10 years. Nomine is closing and I will be writing a specific farewell blog and am looking for anyone who would like to have their memories of Nomine included. I am very excited to announce that I am currently working on a new home in world for the blog. It will be a place to compliment my blog. I hope to fill it with landmarks, links, freebies and lots more! I am taking applications from designers who would like to have a FREE advert landmarking where they are located here. Also, if you are a designer and would like to have one of your designs as a freebie featured, please contact me. You can either email me at evelyndelombre@gmail.com OR drop a notecard on me in world (evelyndelombre). There is an in world group which is free to join and I will be setting up a subscriber also for those of us who have too many groups! Eventually, I hope to run little competitions for group members once I have enough designers involved. There will be an official opening of the location shortly.

I totally agree with everything said. I see some amazing creations in mesh and am reminded when I do that the returns for designers within SL is diminishing due to the global recession and it is becoming harder and harder for them to turn any kind of profit. So I am 100% behind all the designers and creators within SL and salute them. It's becoming a thankless task at the best of times for them. So here's a big thank you from me. :matte-motes-kiss:

I've just signed up as a premium member and when I click on the button to get my free Linden house, I get a white page with a 404 error. Not Found The requested URL /en/lindenhomes/land-selection.php was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.9 (Debian) mod_ssl/2.2.9 OpenSSL/0.9.8g Server at land.secondlife.com Port 443 Has the process to get your free house changed? Also, my Linden $ haven't turned up yet, but I wondered if they may take a little while? Thanks! EDIT: Thanks for the comment about the L$, At least I know now. As far as the house went, I found a different link and all was well. But I already use Chrome and/or Firefox and the 404 message was via Chrome. I'm happy with my house at the moment, but perhaps there is an issue with the link? Thanks for your help! :-D x
