  1. It didn't occur to me that the problem might be the left part of the F.....Thanks!
  2. Hope this is the right forum for this, as I don't think the Fashion forum was the right place. I am looking for an experienced tattoo designer to contact me either here, or in SL, to help me resolve a design issue I am having. I am currently designing a design for an ankle tattoo, but having trouble where the front and back of the leg textures meet. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get the small sliver of skin filled in between the two halves of leg. Is this a technical limitation that can't be overcome? Should I move the design? Or is there some technique I am not using that will assist me in this. It would suck if I had to move the location of the tat, as it's based on a tattoo that my partner has in RL, and I wanted to put it in the same location. Any and all help on this would be really appreciated. Below is a picture of the issue for reference. I also notice the front part of the word looks like it's curving downward, not level with the front part of the word. That should be a quick layer rotate fix, but it's that gap in the top of the 'F' that I am trying to fix.
  3. Ok let me try those suggestions and see if that reduces the problems I'm seeing. Thanks!

    Tattoo Help

I've been trying to find a tutorial to help me with this particular issue, and will continue to do so, but until then I figured I would touch base with those who have more experience in this area than I do. Seeing as I am new to creating ANYTHING in Second Life. I am trying to create some custom tattoos for me and fiance, but I am running into an issue where if I attempt to use text, the text is pretty blurry and difficult to read. I am also noticing a reduction in sharpness when I upload them to SL. In GIMP they look much clearer. Is there a technique to get around this a bit? I know they will blur the more you zoom closer to them, but trying to mitigate it as much as possible. Another issue I seem to be experiencing is that when I make changes to a texture, or reupload a texture, when I apply it to my avatar, it distorts the tattoo instead of it looking like the original image. Is that a Second Life issue, or is it something I can fix in GIMP? Again, sorry if these questions are "noob", but hey, we all started from somewhere. I appreciate any and all help.
