I'll actually back this. Under the concept that, in order to know what needs to be improved or what works with people. Feedback is critical for this. A vendor can only know so much as to why his or her's creation is popular or unpopular. Pricing? Quality? Which is it? It'd be nice to know to actually take some time to review the product. I try doing this as much as possible and it would really be nice if what you buy in-world that's also available on the Marketplace, you could review too. Not just what you buy in the marketplace restrictly. Also, reviews are important to pointing out items that could be faked or stolen. The less reviews that happens, it's going to prop up issues that could get out of hand. I'll also add that vendors should be revoked from hiding reviews under the basis of protecting their credibility for their shady practices if they're found at fault. But to make that balanced, I think some aspects of that review should be moderated.

We've already seen what just a handful of all of these can do in the real world. Not to mention when some people on SL get such a stick shoved up them that they do this stuff to. We don't need more of it and not at that volume. No thanks.

Of all the gripes that are minor with Second Life and it's potential. Do you think we could see maybe with Project Sansar that you could DO more than Second Life? I mean, when I think about it, there's six core things you can do in SL. Six...those six are: Dancing Wandering Having Sex Dress Up Play Mini-Games Lounging I mean, it's 2016 right now and you'd think there'd be more things to do. And I know someone could say "Well, you can do x thing at a particular sim..." I'm aware of that and I know of those places. But I'm speaking in the sense where you can readily and easily do it. Like, going into water, any water, and just automatically swim in it. How about mountains? Climb mountains. How about play an actual game of Basketball? That'd be awesome! But, no, Second Life is not capable of this and from the sounds of Sansar (based off of a few months ago), I don't think there's really going to be anything drastic.

This is stupidly frustrating... So a friend buys me one of SHX's Shoutcast Receiver Model SRC-F200. I got the receiver itself, rezzed it so I could try and help figure out a problem that friend had by using the menu and help her where to go. Now, I deleted it in-world, knowing it's gone for good and it's no copy. But I saved the box of it, which should have it in there. Problem? It doesn't...why? But, I've been made a rare exception, which something took me by surprise. However, I will say with complete understanding that this is something not to expect to happen again if such a similar experience happens again. I'd also advise people not to take it for granted and expect it to immediately happen for them in similar cases. Suing was indeed out of the question and yeah I know that it's hundreds to possibly thousands to fish for that 45, which wouldn't have been worth it at all. Right now I'm actually trying to talk to my bank and saying the matter has been resolved, but I'm expecting a phone call now from a department of theirs that handles this thing so I can clarify to them. All in all though, I'm glad that the matter has been dealt with, LL has basically warned me and gave me a fitting lecture to add to this. I also hope that I directed LL's attention to those infringing accounts because they've been also used for copybotting. Copying other items usually without permission of the vendors. Other than all of that, thanks to all that have given good advises and whatnot. I've been on hold for a whole day which is why I couldn't respond. But, now I have obviously.

That possibility has already been looked into and came up implausible. Considering that we both were away during those periods of time.

I've tried to figure out what's their contact but of course, they've made it into a maze. Bank notified, LL reported to (well I think anyways, their sales address or what have you), 2 suspicious accounts reported for fraud/hacking.

I went to this forum because apparently there isn't a help forum made on this that I know of. My bank has been notified, the suspected user has been reported, Linden Labs has been contacted and I'm finding pieces of evidence that links to the purpetrator. I want my money back. I've lost out $45 in total IRL money just so someone could buy back their little stupid items, funnel it over to an account they knowingly have access to and make it seem like my lover did it. I have strong suspicions as to whom, they've been reported, I hope to hear back from my bank tomorrow and vice versa.

Okay, so, some asshat decided to be a dick and hack into either my account or my lover's account. Both accounts had my credit card on it. Made $45 of unauthorized transactions to my account, bought the linden and presuambly emptied it into their account once they got it. I'm livid at the moment so I'm not in the mood for smartass comments, lectures and the sort. I want one thing right now and for this to be settled.

Stop selling items. Seriously. We all don't have that perfect body shape to perfectly fit your little item. Some of us want to modify because that's a core element to SL. When you take that away and all you've got boiled down to is just the bare basics of it, then why bother? Now, I'm expecting heat from this and I don't care for it to the extent of being all raging about it by response. I'm a femboi on SL, so yes, I like buying skirts. I've bought a few decent skirts so far that I think looked great. I can rez them in a sandbox and alter them as I wish, but, I put them back on - they reset back to what they were originally. Again, I'm sick of vendors with "No Modify" enabled. Even when it's enabled, guess what? Can't do it at a sandbox. You're against the idea of customization. So, sorry, but you vendors should stop selling items period if most of what you're going to sell is "No Modify" items. Don't you want people buying your items to have complete and fulfilled satisfaction? Guess not...just want money.

Grim Combat Sim if I understand correctly. Which is quite a horrendous laggy and poorly programmed sim. I've played on it once with zombies and it was very lackluster. It was amusing to see the owner go off on a rant about how the tips went more to the strippers than the DJs themselves. Complained about the staff's laziness and how those who volunteered don't do their job and more whining was followed. First and foremost, if you don't want the tips to go off to the strippers, how about having no more than 2 or no poles? Instead of like, 10 of them at every corner. Maybe if the DJs didn't suck at picking music, like having music you'd normally hear on FM radio stations like your car. As well as the requests sucking too. If the staff is doing a piss poor job doing what they do, maybe you should drop them instead of simply keeping them around and hoping for the best of improvement. Have a no-tolerance policy or something. But then again, I wouldn't miss IYC if it was really gone. So if the owner wants to shoot himself in the foot as he's already doing, then by all means. I'm actually tired of the bigger fur clubs attracting all the attention when I've seen well-made and well-managed clubs that are small in traffic just disappear.

I've done as I've suggested and the piercings themselves just won't move with the ear. Starting to think now that maybe they may look good but they're poorly made in the programming/scripting phase. I've had crappy items before and they've got the basics down which is to attach to the respective limb they're meant to be on and motion with it. Least the piercings were free. Problem with them - They're relatively huge (Minus Ark, probably, the smaller of them all.) and for the most part, they lag like hell. Not to mention, they're favorite and frequent targets to griefers which may explain how badly they could perform at times. I could list more problems, but they're fairly minor and opinion-based. Me and a friend of mine have had conversations on keeping track with fur clubs here and there. While there is some small clubs out there, they're getting pegged down as in, closing. Which sucks because I've seen some well-made furry clubs from the few 2 1/2 years I've been on SL. We're losing clubs left and right almost every year and both of us think that one of the big 5 is possibly teetering towards being gone because of idiotic management (IYC). So, this brings me to ask. There any good prospering furry clubs out there? Something to get away from the obnoxiously laggy big ones.

I see this move as Irresponsible by Linden Labs. They couldn't just try to improve and make SL better before even thinking of wanting to make a new virtual world? I see so much potential SL could have that Linden Labs has not pounced on from what I've seen in the past 10 years off and on. It'd be almost like building a new house because you don't want to clean the old one. I'm sortof glad there'll be a new virtual world and there's a hundred questions I could throw about now about how it'll be like. But, now is not the time to as we only have barebones still as to what to expect. However, that doesn't stop me from thinking that this is an irresponsible step Linden Labs has taken.

It brought me to CasperVend, where it listed the items I had purchased with this specific vendor. (It's ::Static:: in case someone knows.) But it also has listed a bunch of things that weren't related to the vendor I had purchased from. About half a dozen things I could have redelivered. It's kinda unfortunate, because I think what I'm getting at is, wouldn't this be nifty to have? The reasons I suggest this idea is: - The land of the instore could not exist anymore. - There is no redelivery terminal for that store. - The store is strictly Marketplace and has no inworld store. - The owner/creator could not be on SL anymore to contact about redelivery. - It would override the "No copy" some items have. (This could have a hand where the merchants are given a little option as to how many redeliveries a buyer can have on specific items with No Copy.) The only issues I see with this is that: - The items could not exist anymore. Which would make this feature out of reach for them. Now, don't get me wrong. Mine is pretting involved - I'd pay back a friend whom had helped me get things on SL her $9,000L I'd get about a bunch of furry avis I'd actually want and not just they look good to me. Including their accessories and mods. I'd get some vehicles, preferably motorcycles Lots of rave gear Build up my wardrobe more with the avis I have and whatever is left over, becomes donations.

I'm really getting frustrated with this, when I get items to attach to a certain part of my avi and they don't even motion with the attached limb. They just stay static where they are. I know someone had informed me about the Build option and holding shift to select multiple objects and CTRL + L to bind them. However, that doesn't function. Does anyone have any ideas?

Does such a thing exist? Apparently the marketplace doesn't seem to think so. Would love to have it because I'm trying to put on paws and they clip over my hands.

Assumptions only get you so far. People are so conclusive as to assume what people's emotions are. I'd have to say, you're far off from thinking I'm even remotely angry. If anything, I'm mostly astounded that the community in these forums just take things out of context and still run with them. I have nothing to prove and show. I'm not responsible for your persception. If you wish to believe that I'm angry and if it helps make you sleep better at night. So be it. Because that's what everyone just generalizes when someone comes up with rational thought and is in the minority against the blunt majority. So I recall nothing and with that I'm pretty much done here. I've only acted that reflected one's obliviousness. So, enjoy that to think about. :3
