  1. Your best bet is to log in to your PayPal account, click the link that says "View All My Transactions," and you'll see a list of transactions that have been paid through your PayPal account. Find the Second Life transaction and click the "Details" link next to it. Where you see the section that says "Recurring Payment Sent," click on "View Details." Near the top left of that page is a link that says "Cancel." Click that, and your recurring payment should be canceled.
  2. My avatar won't fully load, and it might be due to the unscheduled maintenance... http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2015/11/04/post2670/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+SecondLifeGridStatus+%28Second+Life+Grid+Status+Updates%29
  3. Welcome back, Keelin! SL can be a fun and interesting world with so many things to explore. Try using the Search in-world to find places to visit that match your interests. Look for groups too, and sign up to receive group notices so that you'll know if they host events. Hanging out at events is a great way to meet people and make new friends. I'm mostly into roleplay myself (Old West), but there are many kinds of rp sims in SL to discover, if you might be interested in that sort of thing. And many of the rp sims hold OOC (out-of-character) events where you can also make some friends. Good luck, and have fun! Sam
  4. Hi Panksy, Welcome to Second Life! SL is a fun and interesting world with so many things to explore. Use the Search in-world to find places to visit that match your interests. Look for groups too, and sign up to receive group notices so that you'll know if they host events. Hanging out at events is a great way to meet people and make new friends. You mentioned that you're interest in roleplay, and there are many kinds of roleplay sims in SL. I'm into Old West roleplay myself, and if you ever visit the Mustang Flats western rp sim, feel free to look me up. Have fun!
  5. Hi younghooper456, Welcome to SL! I agree with Alwin and Binx, an empty profile makes it harder to find friends. Put up a picture and type in a few of the things you like to do in the "About" section of your profile, and that will help. Plus, use the Search and find places to visit that match your interests. Look for groups too, and sign up to receive group notices so that you'll know if they host events. Hanging out at events is a great way to meet people and make new friends. Have fun!
  6. Hi Cupcake, Welcome to SL! It's a fun and interesting world with so many things to explore. If you ever want to try roleplaying, let me know. I'm into Old West roleplay myself, but there are many other kinds of roleplay sims that are pretty cool. Heck, there are many fabulous things to do in SL no matter what you're interested in. Have fun!
  7. I was finally able to log in but am having trouble with my avatar not loading, and I've tried two different viewers.
  8. I have been using Firestorm viewer, but that viewer seems to be having issues. My avatar takes a long time to load and moves almost in slow motion. In the SL viewer, it loads more quickly and moves well. So, I'm trying to get used to the SL viewer, but one thing I cannot figure out is how to make AOs work in SL viewer. And I can't find anything about it in the knowledge base. Can anyone help? Thanks!
