Depends on the creator. They are well in their right to say 'no', as they can´t know if you sold it and just want to sneak another one, but saying 'no' is the most they can do, so no harm in asking politely, some might be sympathetic with your story.

That´s interesting. I'm planning to do a sim-size mesh landscape and cityscape in blender, if I can find enough time, but thought probably the size and LI would be troubling. For a reference - I have a bought mesh landscape, which exists in 3 size versions, comes in parts/with a rezzer, the listed prims are: 256x256 : 106 prims 128x128 : 77 prims 64x64 : 61 prims (The listings say prims, not LI, I don´t remember if the LI was the same, but I think at least it was similar, don´t have the place to rez that kind of stuff anymore)

Two ideas, just in case you didn´t think of it yet yourself: - your items might have been returned in 1 'coalesced object' that has a name you maybe didn´t look for when checking your inventory and Lost&Found folder - for the items you lost, if you remember the creators, or have the folder with their info-NC still, you could tell them your plight and ask if they´d redeliver the item, at least for no transfer items I think most will do

Stop right there! Unless I´m very mistaken, you can´t only buy a sim for often much cheaper from private than LL, but also there sometimes are grandfathered sims on the market and since LL made some changes recently the grandfathered status, with the much lower tier payments, is transferable now. I´m sure I read there´s an in-world group too for people who sell/buy sims. I don´t even have a surname. That clearly proves I´m not one of those people you´re implying I belong to. And there we have the reason as well, why you´re picking on me. Always on the people without surnames. Just because nobody trusts a person without a surname. That´s where you should be looking for the real drama. The doing away with surnames. I´d be careful with that club, those cubes sound like the perfect hiding place for botted Redzone scripts that are said to still being used by land owners. Someone should confront the club owner about it. Not me, I´m on his mute-list already because he didn´t understand that he undermined my right of free expression when I was shifting into my dire wolf form on the dance floor, so I had to call him names in his IMs, after he banned me from his club and I couldn´t use localchat for that anymore to make his guests aware of the discrimination and racism in his club. By the way, did anyone notice the land forums seem more quiet than usual? My sister thinks the land trading folk got a headstart for Sansar alongside the handpicked creators already and that they are busy forming cartels over there already, because they are worried about the rumours of cheap land.

A SL friend of the RL husband of the SL cousin of a SL friend of a RL friend heard they're already selling your IP-adress and creditcard info, but on some social media site that doesn´t belong to the LL group, so it´s fine. But if you don´t click on weird looking links in your group notices and lock the doors, you can save at least your rezzed out furniture.

I´ve been told someone 'had a tracker on me' some years ago, so I looked into that, and there are things like this sold on Marketplace, apparently it´s okay to sell such stuff: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Online-Tracker-HUD-online-status-indicator-online-detector-avatar-online-indicator/676468 Type in 'online tracker' as search term in MP, then you can get an idea of what´s possible. I bought a similar thing at that time to try it out with a friend, so we knew if it really works, it did. There´s not much you can do I fear, unless the person does anything you could AR to LindenLab, but to block and ignore them. Reacting to them by IMing and accusing them of tracking you etc. probably only works like fuel to the fire with stalker personalities I guess. If you just ignore it completely, chances they´ll get bored with it and go track someone else are highest probably.

Probably a damaged file, you might have no problems though, if the damage isn´t bad, but if you do, like crashing (that´s what the crash logger is for, to tell the viewer why you crashed in case you do) try a 'clean install' next time. If you use the default viewer, instructions are here: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-Second-Life/ta-p/1375231 , if you use a 3rd party viewer, they should be on that viewer´s website. It´s best to always do clean installs when updates come in, to avoid problems, but follow the instructions precisely, so you won´t accidentally delete eventual cherished chatlogs, friendlists, settings or anything. But as long as it works, lean back and enjoy

I still love and read it, I learn/ed a lot here, there are a lot of helpful people, and sometimes it´s simply entertaining to me. I´m wary of engaging in discussions though, so usually I only post if I happen to know something more on the factual side of things that might help someone. ETA: I wish more people were aware that it´s more important that new people come to, and stay in, SL, even if they post in the wrong subforum, sometimes ask things they could quickly google themselves etc. (I think not every question is a question in all cases, but more a try to connect, to communicate, and I don´t see the harm - it´s not as if this forum was so overfull with posts that it becomes difficult to scan for posts that might interest one.) than it is to scare the ones away that don´t fit one´s personal standards. SL is already a world full of alts, new people with new ideas and less preconceptions and still less disillusions about SL are a good thing for SL and us all, even if there are a few bad peas among them, I´m positive that the majority is quite okay, and the ones you dont´t like, well, don´t read their posts/don´t waste your precious time answering them, don´t engage with them if you meet them in-world, and spend your time discussing with some of the many rather smart and nice people I know are in SL and on this forum, or with yourself, if nobody is smart and nice enough for you. Seems rather easy. (impersonal you, last part not at OP and probably neither at who you might think it is, the posts of both fall under the part of the forum that entertains me, and I like to read them )

Hello Scorpion, it takes some time to figure out stuff, don´t worry, I don´t want to know how many people log in a few times and leave because they just give up, googling and asking will get you somewhere quickly though. In addition to what above posters said - there´s a handy sorting function in the in-world search in your viewer, also in friendlists, radar, groupnotices etc., so you can type something you´re interested in into the 'Places'-tab, e.g. 'medieval roleplay', 'rock music', '***', whatever, and search will list places. Click the tab that shows the traffic, and it will get sorted by traffic number, highest on top, see a short description of the place and teleport there to have a look, in places with a lot of traffic your chances that people are on the sim are much higher obviously. You can search with your terms of interest in the 'Groups'-tab also and sort the groups to member number and join a few with high membercount (probably more active), then you´ll receive group notices that inform you about events and such of the group (those notices again you can, in a group´s info-window, sort for date, and so see the notices that have been sent for up to the last 14 days. For concurrent user number, I don´t know about the default viewer, but Firestorm as one of the 3rd party viewers (might be interesting for you too: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory) for instance shows you the number of people online at the time you start your viewer, right now for example that´s...let me see...~29K. I feel with you there. Try to add 'NOT gatcha' and 'NOT gacha' to your search terms (Second one is the right spelling btw, but it´s spelled gatcha wrongly often (see your OP, and I'm pretty sure I typed it your way some times too ) And while gacha can be fun, I agree, there should be an extra category for them, or even several, sorted to common, rare etc.
