  1. A stipend is offered when needed for expenses.

Have a chat with us about the pay structure, it's an interesting approach and my testing shows that it works.

    I'm one of the teachers.

You'll be responsible for postings like this.  You may even have some fun laying out the sim and maybe even placing some buildings.  There are other tasks that may interest you.

Contact me in-world if you're interested, it's pretty light work really, or as complex as you want it to be.

    I'm BinBash Resident in-world.

  2. If you already have Express you can still get the 2 year term of Expression.  The package comes with 2 different registration items, Express and Expression.

We're offering an Expression term of 2 years (which adds to your existing term if you have one).  Express is perpetual, until the end of time...

    Now here's the fun.

We're performing an auction with a starting bid of L$200.

At the end of the auction the winner gets Bento Buddy/Expression/Express for their bid amount.

Now, this is not a typical auction.  You pay a commitment fee of L$200 which is returned to you after the auction by returning the ticket.
You don't pay anything else, you don't pay a bid, you just state a bid by clicking an object and entering the bid in a text box.

Once the auction is complete the winner promises to pay the bid amount and then receives the package after payment.

Everyone else gets their commitment fee returned to them immediately.

There's only one clause, bids must be made in increments of L$100.

Actions last an hour and repeat every hour until I get tired.

    This is happening now!

Buy the "Auction Commitment" item in-world and hang out to start bidding.  Please only purchase this 1 time, no need to keep doing it.

Ah, I see your point clearly now.

But imagination is a funny thing because you can't touch it, except that 17 requests have come in so far that I CAN virtually touch.  I wonder why that is?  I mean really, it would be interesting to know what caught this much attention.

Could it be my frawg legs?  I'll leave that one up to you to figure out because I'm not so good at that one.

    what's the payment?

It's important that people understand that business is not discussed in public so I don't want the on-lookers, especially those that may want to give this a try with some guidance, to think that we're not disclosing full information.

You didn't follow the instructions above so clearly you're not interested in the position.  This is not a job offer, it's an executive role, the details of which will be discussed in private and is nobody's business what they'll be earning, except their own.

We are a real company, not some "designer this", "fashion that", "them designs" or "fabulous fancy funny flippy floop couture".

If you have a real question you know where to find me.

And if you had to blink that much you may want to contact me for some advice, I kinda know a little bit about how this is done.

    But thanks for the jump.

  5. We've been working under the name Critters for many years and established legally in 2022.

A major shareholder stepped out recently to pursue other goals.  This was not a surprise and we've been preparing for this transition for awhile.

As a result we have a partnership opening.

At Critters LLC we're searching for an executive leader with some experience in building company/corporate relationships and deligating for on-boarding for our various projects.

The ideal candidate will be lead in content creation for Second Life(R) but the potential doesn't end there.  This umbrella management company is utilized for Second Life(R) specific content creation but is also responsible for maintaining company structures and it's associated assets.  This person will help realize our long term goals and have a deciding role in how we progress with content creation for SL and expansion into other markets.

Describing the broad scope of Critters is not the intent but it's hopeful that the right candidate will see value with the limited information I've provided.  Your role initially, and within Second Life(R) specifically, is to maintain SL related tasks and delegate responsibilities within the confines of SL.  We do not mix our in-world and out-world business but knowing that we are not locked into a specific area may get the attention of that person we will be compatible with.

    Objectives

    * Generate interest in our brand
    * Lead with us to create motivated discussion and action for products/projects
    * Take charge in moving us towards ambitious and aggressive goals
    * Create vision for our success in the long and short term

    Responsibilities

    * Generate ideas for product to bring to market
    * Perform content creation tasks and delegate as needed
    * Keep track of business progression and set thresholds to success
    * Organize the growth of our work-force

    Skills and Qualifications

    * At least 1 year of 3d content creation experience
    * Extemporaneously assert our goals and take command of a situation
    * Ability to change paths and projects for a better growth and market
    * Team management to align with company standards and goals

    Qualifications

    * Business structure knowledge, either self taught, degree or corporate experience
    * Knowledge of corporate structure and legal requirements with regard to C Corp entities
    * Genius level IQ

    Desirable Talents

    * ASD, OCD, ADHD

Contact me in-world.  Pop open an Instant Message initially but a note-card may be required if I'm not online, I'm often online but just to make sure, notecard notecard.

Thank you for reading this far, this is going to be an exciting trip.

  6. This is the Flex event!

We have stuff, it's in store things and we have discounts, and this is the first Flex event ever.

On the main vendors are Bento Buddy update for 12 months, initial membership for 12 months and 1 month intro.

They are priced differently and with fabulous terms.

We will have some live music mix and a dancing frawg O.o

Well, let's have some fun huh?  Come and have a chatter with us, fun around, dance and get to know your fellow creators.

Have a look around at the other brands that have gifted us with their presence, we are very grateful that they chose to place their items at Animore, a namesake for a future product we're working on.

This lasts for 3 days only, then we clean out the sim for a new beginning.

  7. We need our vendor images revamped along with copy for advertisements.  Each segment is a separate job and there may be more tasks ahead as we continue to grow and add product if you would like to take the ride with us.

There's no requirement for organic art so if you're experienced with mechanical drawing, logos and signs this is just fine.  Even if you have no experience and you think you can do the job, this is a great time for you to break into the field.

Contact me in-world via notecard, I am BinBash Resident.

I am looking for somebody that doesn't need a deposit

I just want to chime in, in support of your assertion about deposits.

This is a horrible practice that we pay people to work before they do the work and it aught to stop.  I can appreciate paying people as they go, but even this is not something I practice myself.

I have been down this road multiple times and it wastes time, not just money, when the person just jets off with your "deposit" and you are waiting for some productive work to be done, listening to their excuses which wastes even more time.  Additionally I don't care how well the apparent resume is worked up, I get results or they get nothing, it's that simple, I just won't do it and I find people for jobs constantly, never requiring a deposit.  In fact when I have been down this road, and people ask for a deposit, a large percentage of these arrangements end up with money in their pocket and no product in my hand.

In support of your cause I would actually do some free work for you, give me a heads up in-world and we'll discuss it.  I am BinBash Resident and I am not a duck.

  9. The Critters team is a group of highly skilled and motivated content creators with a drive to bring some of the best lesser known brands to the forefront, and cooperative larger ones, for a fresh level of exposure, bringing you knowledge of their skill, content and solutions whether it's a pair of shoes you want, a system of promotion or you've just never heard of them and want something new for your Second Life(R) adventures.  We want to make your jaws drop again and we'd like help doing that.

With the up-coming projects at your disposal you'll be able to add more value to your resume and be lifted up by association with brand synchronicity.

This opportunity, to take part in a massive collaborative growth project, may involve signing an NDA before we can even discuss it with you, depending on your projected involvement.

We're in high gear and moving fast.

You can contact me directly, in-world, a notecard is best.  If you would be kind enough to offer a schedule of times that you can be available for a meeting then this will expedite the flow.  Those without a schedule will be put at the bottom of the list.  We identify time using SLT, we don't need to know your time-zone or the name of your duck.

Modified mesh, tried different weight paints, tried different topology.

It's true, the bind information will have to be loaded onto the joints.  Blender has a hack to do this, so that you can export the mesh with that same information.  Other 3d applications don't need this hack, Blender wasn't built to honor scaled joint data, among other things, though this is the way it imports the mesh in order to get the correct view.  Don't sneeze on it though, it's very sensitive and the joints cannot be altered with any expectation of correctness.

If you really want to understand the "ins and outs" of this you can contact me in-world, but I suspect you would be very bored with the details.  I'm also here if you need some guidance but I won't have a detailed discussion on forums.

  11. Like any large code based project there are bits of code that never get called, disabled code and code that never was even implemented in the first place.  I'm sure there are methods to remove the clutter but I'm a programmer, among many other things, and don't find it useful these days to clean up unused code and often that same code serves as a reference so it can be helpful to myself, and others, to leave it in.

I suspect that the above is true for the official viewer code, which I happen to grab a copy of frequently, and I find myself in areas of the code that appear to be like others that I've worked with, which happens in my own projects as well, and I'll find my self scratching my head when my changes don't take effect, only to become aware that I've been editing the wrong section or file.  This can also happen when I'm searching for a bug, find it, but are unable to affect any change since I'm in the wrong section.

Speaking of "wrong sections" this looks like the old BVH code, addressing the usable 4 priorities.

I think everyone here is aware that the ".anim" (which LL are referring to as "internal animation format") file doesn't have a single priority, this header reference is just that, information.  Each joint has its own priority and how an application creates these priorities may be different from each other.  In the case of Bento Buddy we make a single priority most notable, in the exporter, and below that there are tools to alter each joint animation priority, of which all will contain the same one found in the animation exporter.  In this particular case the default export priority is always used unless the joint has the "override" flag on it, set in this special "joint priority" section.

Unless some code has been added to the viewer I suspect that, as always, one cannot determine the animation priority of any joint and, in fact, I can set the default priority to 0 and all joints to 6, and you'll probably be just as confused as the OP, and that other guy.
