No I agree that it is more than "Interesting" as from what I was told they will be trying out Linux OS at least from what I seen before. But we will see, as I will ask my Estate Owner to switch over my region to test out this version. But, lets keep an eye on this for sure.

Folks, as I do work in the forum/website industry I can tell you why IPB decide to remove the online indicator from public view. Mainly because it is not much of an importance anymore, but for some folks they do disagree. As we would like to know if a user or Linden is online sure, I am sure in the near future this will be added in an IPB update but for now folks just use the online status page/user card or Linden Labs is welcome to add a plugin that has been wrote up to allow folks to see the online indictors like some other pieces of software (Xenforo, vBulletin, MyBB, etc) show on their software still. Check out the positions that we have open below: - Landscaper - Responsible for landscaping the region up for events, seasonal changes, and regular landscaping in other areas of the region. I would suggest trying a different viewer to see if you experience this issue at all, if so you need to report it to Firestorm Viewer and Second Life's Support Portal. It ether sounds like a region issue or viewer issue. So contact the appropriate communications channels so they can look into what is going on.

Heh, half of my pages were locations I haven't had time to set up anyways so no worries. Ohh well, hope they get the issue fixed soon.

Would be interesting for folks to have a calendar widget on their page, mainly to show off events going on at that place. I've went ahead and created a issue to see what the Lindens think, what do y'all think?

Is this issue experienced with every region or a specific region? If it is a specific region then it needs to be reported to Linden Labs.

I have been able to figure out how to fix this @Tommy Linden. I will message you the fix as it has something to do with the group and profile menus in ACP.

Hello there, Just to update this thread, the following locations have been bought and are safe now. - ERMA (East River Municipal Airport) a small airport located in Brooks sim - Muirhead Village - Located in Muirhead sim this area has quite a few rental homes and a large garden area - Helvellyn Village - Located across the East River from Helvellyn town this area has rental homes and a vast garden. - Hardknott area - This is mostly undeveloped land with a wind farm, vast forest area, and a home. - Whinlatter Fortress - An old fortress right on a head water, amazing place for rental homes or any number of installations! I do agree that alot more testing should be done, don't get me wrong.. but I have delt with that issue since I have wireless internet.. I mean it is the mainland that will happen. But let's see what the next few month's get's us before taking it back to the beta grid.
