Hi Katarina, This shutting down like this could be because of a number of things, it's not and SL issue though i'm sure. as there is so many reasons it can do this i think you should take a look at the link below and as you will see it could be hardware or even a virus causing this to happen, anyhoo have a read i hope it helps. Hi Tulip, I think your problem may be its trying to play media that flash or quicktime is needed for and cant locate them so you may have to reinstall those, you maybe have to do a full uninstall and re-install.. so i would log out and re install both quicktime and flash players. i hope this helps but sorry if it doesn't and keep checking here i'm sure someone will know exactly what to do... good lucky anyhow. Hello all firstly please fogive me if i have this in the wrong forum but i'm new here and have been teaching myself the basics of building and texturing ect.. anyhoo my problem is this. I built a shed with linked door ect and texturing it was no problem i had played with the flip buttons to flip the textures horizontally and vertically ect but now since the new update i cant find the option to flip the textures which is no problem really on a normal prim but i had got a free sculpted hat to practice texturing on sculpts now when i made my texture in psp and uploaded it and textured the hat the text was back to front.. now after the update it seems the buttons for flipping textures has been removed ? can anyone please tell me how to flip the textures now that option seems to have been removed from the update ? i did a workaround by flipping the texture in psp but my names Lazy Monk and prefers less work lol.. btw the update is version 3.6.0 ( 277516) June 18th i think thats the version number anyhoo.. thanks in advance if you can help me with flipping from within the editor.

Hi Celeste i think i know whats wrong .. at the top of your screen on the menu bar there is a tab called Advanced.. click it and scroll down the list till you get to Highlighting and visibility..a new list pops up, if ( hide selected) is ticked click it to remove the tick... i'm new here myself but after looking into your problem i think thats where it is.. you have hide selected ticked.. good luck . oh btw if you dont see the advanced tab on the menu at the top go to your preferences then go to the advanced tab.. in there you can select show advanced menu..
