Try not to clear your cache so often as it may cause problems with your inventory overall. As for the Hud, sounds like the scripts are not communicating with each other and may need resetting. This can be done by Rezzing the Hud>Right Click>Edit>Go To Contents Tab>Double Click The Script or Scripts if there are multiple>Click Reset On Each One. A more simple solution would just be to contact the creator of the truck which you can find by right clicking the vehicle>go to edit and the creator's name should be there.

To add to what was said before, Only the group owner/land owner or persons in the group with the rights to changte the "About Land" settings can change the landing point. If the group/land owner has the land set to teleport to the landing point then that is the only place they will appear.

I also use a macbook pro which is what i've used for years but recently got an hp desktop in addition. The main SL viewer seem to almost never worked with my macbook. Someitmes when you download 3rd party viewers they allow you to choose to get a 32bit version or 64 bit version. It appears you are running with a 32bit, so maybe try downloading a viewer that supports it. I use singularity and my new pc runs with a 64bit so I had to download the 64bit version of the singularity viewer.

What you're saying is, at one point you were able to run animation on an island and now you are no longer able to? In that case, the owner of the island (sim or parcel) may have disabled running scripts on their property. It is most likely only set to the group in which the land is deeded to so you may have to join their group in order to do so.

You may try contacting the owner of the sim by going to World > About Land > Covenant and you should see the name of the person to whom the sim belongs. The sim owner can then ban the greifer from ever entering the sim again. If your sim allows you to have ban lines up, then you may ban him yourself if you have bought your own piece of parcel.

If by "browser" you mean "viewer", it is also possible that the viewer you downloaded is not compatable with your computer. I'm not sure if any of us have answered your question but I surely hope something one of us has said will be able to help you.

I've certainly seen info hubs created by users. Maybe you can't particularly call it an official "info hub" but I have seen plenty of informational locations for new and old members to gather. If you want to create a space to help new members, you are able to do so, come up with a creative name for it besides "info hub".
