  1. Hi, maybe the place you are trying to log into is too laggy, try logging in to a different more quiet place, hope that helps
  2. Hi, it sounds like when you tried on the demo you wore a body crusher, and that you haven't removed it, check what you are wearing in your inventory and see if you have one in there you are wearing, if it isnt a body crusher then i really dont know. Otherwise do a health check on your avatar, reset it to remove everything and go back to the default shape.
  3. wow, i dont know where im going wrong then, hehe, no one wants to know me :smileysad: guess im too ugly or boring, lol saying about the getting hit on though, i know a girl who has even changed her profile and her alts to add that no shes not here for sex in capital letters, haha so im thinking she cant have a peaceful life either, mind you i think her very attractive but im shy and never hit on anyone :smileyembarrassed:

So why do some of us use alts and some of us dont like them at all? A girl once told me she had 100 alts, after that i never saw her again, or maybe i did and didnt know it was her :smileyvery-happy:

One of the confusing things about SL is that the feature originally designed to tell avatar height, AgentSize, is actually broken. Any height detectors that use it alone are going to give you a height about 6-7 inches shorter than you actually are (in which case you'd have actually been about 5'6"). Even the height displayed in the official viewer is wrong, with Linden Lab stating they are aware of the issue and will fix it "eventually". Several of the more popular TPVs correct this. The only 100% accurate way to know your height right now is to hop on a pose stand, take off your hair and shoes, then stretch a prim from the bottom of your feet to the top of your skull. The size of the prim is the size of your avatar in metres. I had gathered several different free height detectors since using the one at the freebie store, they all told me a different height, and all said they were the most accurate, but you definitely can't go wrong using a prim as a measure, so that's what i've done with mine. I had tried making my av my RL height 5'4, but it made me look just a bit too small, so i increased it several more inches, which still looks small in comparison to the giant sized 7ft-8ft avs but where i hang out now most male avs aren't so giant, so i'm completely happy with it now :smileyhappy:

  10. also wearing a gentle facelight gets rid of those lines, they make the face look flawless and smooth, no bumps or lines, just beauty
  11. Facelights are a must have especially for ladies, you can see the difference when you wear one they really make your face so amazingly smooth and beautiful, i dont think the guys need worry though unless theyre really bothered about how smooth and flawless their face looks. But the ladies look stunning, and i'm not talking about the bright light ones, there is a facelight called a glamour facelight and that is perfect, and it doesn't seem to light up everyone else its just a gentle one. The gentle ones are the best, but the too bright ones are a no no :matte-motes-sour: there is windlight settings of course but if you want others to see your beauty you need something everyone can see, not just on your screen, not everyone has their windlight setting adjusted to make avi faces look nice.
